Addition to Okefenokee Swamp[edit]

Thank you for providing the link to a source for the material you added to the article. I have put that link into a citation, as we don't like bare external links. You can create formatted citations yourself. Please take a look at the guideline at Wikipedia:Citing sources. Don't be intimidated by its length and details. The important thing is to provide enough information to allow another editor to identify the source. If you are not sure how to format the information as a citation, do the best you can, and another editor will hopefully polish up the citation. If you have any questions, ask at my talk page. - Donald Albury 21:56, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to His Kind of Woman[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, His Kind of Woman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! February 2019[edit]

Hello, I'm ToBeFree. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to The Day the Music Died seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:07, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on September 11 attacks; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
You have already been informed that "Conspiracy Theories" are already linked in the text. Please stop inserting your changes and stop edit warring. Thank you. David J Johnson (talk) 10:42, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at September 11 attacks. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:46, 20 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

Please refrain from making non-constructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to John P. O'Neill. O'Neill's death is already mentioned in the paragraph below the one to which you added a redundant mention of his death. Nightscream (talk) 18:04, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

April 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Seattle. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:20, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May 2019[edit]

Although you have not used this account in a while, it has become clear that you are either unable or unwilling to understand Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, especially regarding reliable sourcing and biographies of living people. The previous, temporary block of your account has not made a difference, and you have made no attempt to communicate with any other editors. In order to prevent you from causing any further damage to Wikipedia, I have blocked your account indefinitely. You may appeal your block by adding the text {{Unblock|YOUR REASON HERE}} to this page. Please see the guide to appealing blocks before filing an appeal, if you choose to do so. A successful appeal would require you to demonstrate that you have at least some understanding of what a reliable source is, and a willingness to address concerns raised to you by other editors, in addition to whatever other requirements the reviewing administrator might have.
