Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 22:19, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Tpraytor. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Thomas Praytor, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 01:15, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

statistics[edit]

Please change our changes back— Preceding unsigned comment added by Tpraytor (talkcontribs)

You need to cite professionally published independent sources to support those changes. All information added by any person (no matter what their relation) needs sources or it does not belong here. Ian.thomson (talk) 01:41, 14 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

We did and have all stats come from racing reference

No, neither this edit nor this edit nor any of your other edits to the article actually cites any real sources for the changes. Just saying "reference" isn't a magic word, so unless you include a reference's title, author's name, publisher's name, page number, and (if applicable) web address, saying "racing reference" is completely useless. Heck, the article barely cites any sources.
Also, you keep saying "we." Wikipedia does not allow shared accounts. Also, Wikipedia is not the place to promote the career of yourself or any of your relatives. You are welcome to edit in other areas of the site, but you are not welcome to edit on behalf of your son. Ian.thomson (talk) 01:03, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Racing reference is the web site referenced at the bottom of the page
