Alternative accounts

[edit]

I don't see a legitimate basis for you and User:LABcrabs being alternative accounts. The two accounts edit the same articles and participate in the same discussions. See here. A declaration does not make an alternative account legitimate. Please respond.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:11, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is there an easier way for me to separate the items in my watchlist based on topics? If so, I will use this method and merge both accounts. If not, the reason that I have two accounts is to make it easier to split my watchlist by topic. This is what you can observe by watching the Interaction Analyser. --LABcrabs (talk) 22:01, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
But my point is you're not sticking to separate topic areas. You can't have two accounts and edit the same pages and discussions. And it's not just a couple but many, and it's been going on for quite some time.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:07, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It happens uncommonly when I forget to switch between both accounts. It looks like you have no answer to my question about watchlists. The goal with my accounts was never to cause malice or to mislead. It's to cover different topics. --True Tech Talk Time (talk) 22:26, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, it's not uncommon. Your goal about topics and watchlists would be fine, but you've violated your goal too often. It may not be intentionally malicious but it is deceptive on its face. You have a choice. I'm going to let you keep only one account. You pick which one, and I'll block the other.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:25, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Could you merge the accounts, please? I'd like my past contributions to be kept. I also have to move the watchlist between accounts. If you have a way to simply turn True Tech Talk Time in a read-only account, that's fine with me. --True Tech Talk Time (talk) 00:41, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've backed up my watchlist and I'm aware that an account merge is not possible. --True Tech Talk Time (talk) 00:52, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I know of no way to do what you ask. I assume you want to keep LABcrabs and block True Tech Talk Time. Please confirm my assumption.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:03, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
If my contributions can remain intact, a block is fine. Can I still consult my contributions history by logging in, though? --True Tech Talk Time (talk) 03:13, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Contributions don't disappear just because an account is blocked, and TTTT's contribution history is available to anyone. TTTT is now blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:43, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
