DYK for 2021 Turkey floods
On 2 September 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2021 Turkey floods, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that more than 400 millimetres (16 in) of rain was recorded in northern Turkey on 11 August 2021, causing catastrophic flooding? You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, 2021 Turkey floods), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

About Mersin article
Well if I understood it correctly(I am new), I got warned because my edit(s) on Mersin article isnt/arent 'constructive'. I am trying to add a source on the sentence 'Mersin has its highest rainfall in winter, which gives Mersin its healthy, nurtured coastline.' And using this source.[1] Why I am still getting warned? P.S: I am new at Wikipedia, sorry if I have made any mistake(s).
- It is always nice to see people look for answers instead of endlessly reverting edits-so thank you for that. Your edits were reverted, because you do not present a source that confirms the "which gives Mersin its healthy, nurtured coastline." bit, which was where the 'citation needed' tag was for. The source you give does indeed support the first claim; "Mersin has its highest rainfall in winter", but that isn't enough to remove the cn tag, and it's unnecessary; the climate chart already elucidates on that point. As you insisted on reinstating that edit, I warned you. Now I see that it is all in good faith, I'm sorry if I was a bit too harsh. Uness232 (talk) 21:21, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
Oh ok, thanks for the information and I will try to find another source about that. Hi its me again, and I cant find any source about the sentence 'Mersin has its highest rainfall in winter, which gives Mersin its healthy, nurtured coastline.' I was thinking about removing this sentence, since its not that necessary, but if you have a source about it please add it to Mersin article. Justarandomwikilover (talk) 19:49, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- It's totally okay for you to remove uncited info if it has stayed that way for a long time, you definitely do not need to ask me. Thanks for all the work you did, though! Uness232 (talk) 21:25, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Alright, and thanks for your help! Justarandomwikilover (talk) 09:00, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
