Articles for creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 1275 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our help desk.

Do you have what it takes?
  1. Are you familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?
  2. Do you know what Wikipedia is and is not?
  3. Do you have a working knowledge of the Manual of Style, particularly article naming conventions?
  4. Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. Plus, reviewing is easy when you use our new semi-automated reviewing script!

Hello Vivio, I see you are busy which is why I sent you an e-mail: (You adopted me around the time when my Page ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frances_Lynn ) was created. This is not life and death urgent but I see that I have got an error on my Wikipedia page: |accessdate= requires |url= (help) - Both citations in question did not use a web link when the articles appeared. Probably because in 1982 and before this date in the late 70s when both articles appeared in the Evening Standard and the defunct Evening News, - the relevant links did not appear on the net at the time. Back then IIRC one had to manually put one's Computer on the internet which I did. So the internet then was archaic. I have tried removing these error marks explaining the citations did not use a web link but they immediately reappeared again. So when you get some free time, can you give me advice/help me out on this one? Also, I'm not exactly sure what to remove! I find it all very irritating! ) Frances Lynn, author 10:06, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

An RfC about the use of the {{fairusereview}} tag on mainspace pages is in progress here. From 2005 until recently, this template was added to file pages when the non-free status of the file was being discussed. In May this year it was edited so that it could be added to articles. The RfC question is: "Should the template be reverted to the pre-May 2013 version, and retained only for use on file pages?"

Happy New Year Vivio! It looks like you might still be busy in real life ..... but the link of my Crushed review on Reader Kids has just been changed. I tried myself to change the new link ( http://readerviewsarchives.wordpress.com/2014/01/07/crushed-by-frances-lynn/ ) on my Wikipedia page - I don 't know what I've done wrong but after I tried changing the new link on my W. entry - the link doesn't come out on the correct page. Could you please tell me what I've done wrong - when or if you have time. Also I don't know if I should have tried changing the link myself! Frances Lynn, author 10:56, 8 January 2014 (UTC) A friend just inserted the correct link for Crushed for me.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
