Hello, your article is actually a pretty strong first effort, so I ran some 'bots on it to clean up the footnoting a bit, and fixed a little of your formatting. Here are my suggestions for you to push forward:

  • Do not, do not, footnote to Wikipedia on Wikipedia; it's circular logic. Instead, just WP:Wikilink a term. For example, if you mention John Lennon, do not type John Lennon<ref>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Lennon</ref>, but simply type [[John Lennon]]. That forms the blue link, and just do this on the very first time a name appears. Seeing a bunch of "en.wikpedia" footnotes tends to lead to your article being declined until you clean that up.
  • Similar with IMDB, it's totally fine to link to the subject's IMDB page down in "External links" at the end (I fixed this for you), but don't footnote to IMDB in the body of the article.
  • Other than that, you're articles looking pretty good so far. You have a lot of good sources from the media, and that few I've spot-checked do indeed appear to note Saglimbeni's significance as a photographer, so nice work overall.
  • Definitely do the above fixes, and then see what the reviewer says. It still might not make it in the first try, but you're probably 75% of the way there right now, which is very good for a first article. If you have any further questions, swing by The Teahouse to talk to volunteer mentors. Hang in there! MatthewVanitas (talk) 23:59, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
