Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Vr46.bna, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Mynampally Hanmanth Rao, have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can place {{helpme}} on your talk page along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mynampally Hanmanth Rao, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 22:20, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Mynampally Hanmanth Rao, you may be blocked from editing. References to reliable sources (such as the Deccan Chronicle) should not be be removed from articles, especially articles about living people. The exception is when such sources can be replaced with better sources. If you would like to replace the existing reference with other, better references to reliable sources that support the claims made in the article, feel free to do so. Otherwise, it seems as though you have a problem with something the Deccan Chronicle has reported; that would be something you’d have to take up with that newspaper rather than with Wikipedia. If you have any questions about this, rather than removing the reference again, feel free to ask here or begin a discussion at Talk:Mynampally Hanmanth Rao. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 22:37, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Mynampally Hanmanth Rao. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 22:55, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Whitewashing

[edit]

You might not like the source in Mynampally Hanmanth Rao as it is not terribly flattering to the subject, but unless you have evidence (with an equally valid reliable source) that the report in the Deccan Chronicle is wrong, do not remove it again. Even if you do have evidence, you must discuss the matter at Talk:Mynampally Hanmanth Rao, since your removal of this source has been reverted several times now. Edit warring

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Mynampally Hanmanth Rao shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please discuss this matter at Talk:Mynampally Hanmanth Rao. Failure to do so will result in a report to the Administrators' edit warring noticeboard. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:41, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You are most urgently requested to discuss your editing rather than continuing to create non-neutral, promotional material. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:18, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Since you have refused to discuss this matter, but have repeatedly reinserted the improperly promotional material, I am bring this matter to the attention of adminstrators. Please see WP:3RRN WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:46, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You know, if you keep doing this without entering into discussion about it (now being discussed here), you'll probably lose your editing privileges. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:19, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring to restore disputed and inappropriately-toned material to a BLP. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:21, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
