Orientation[edit]
Hi there. You sound like an extraordinary individual with a lot to offer, and I should have some of the goals that you have. I found you in the course of having to undo some encyclopedia faux pas, and thus needing to review your whole edit history. A lot of your contributions are superb, indicating good writing and neutrality (WP:NPOV) skills. Some contributions indicate that you need more orientation in some areas. Everybody does! An encyclopedia is hard stuff. It can be a great personal challenge, to orient with WP:RS so as to understand that a source may be helpful to you personally, but it can't be considered "reliable" to an encyclopedia if it hasn't passed a number of stringent criteria found in WP:RS. The stringent criteria are more stringently enforced on a higher profile article, or more extraordinary or authoritative statements such as reviews. The sources generally need to have industry standard editorial oversight, and to not be of promotional substance, unless maybe if there's literally no other option on Earth or that could ever be reasonably accessible, and that's not the case for any of your topics. For video games in specific, please see WP:VGRS. In general, always stick to the five pillars found at WP:5. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance in any way whatsoever, because I can tell that you're going to be one of the good ones. — Smuckola (Email) (Talk) 16:50, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
