BLP Articles and notability

[edit]

Hi WhichWench, I've looked through some of your contributions and saw User:WhichWench/Txi Whizz, here's some feedback:
First of all, Wikipedia has a very steep learning curve, you will make mistakes when you start, (looking at your userpage) fixing wikipedia's gender imbalance is a very honorable goal, and I'd love to see you become one of the more experienced editors on the wiki, unfortunately, many inexperienced users gets discouraged from editing due to their mistakes, my personal advice to any new user is to be bold and stick with it, don't be upset over failure and don't linger over it.
That being said, your first draft is User:WhichWench/Txi Whizz, which is a article about a living individual (BLPs), one of the hardest types of articles to write about. The policy on BLPs state that "All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source", and many of the sources are not as reliable and doesn't conform with policies here. There may also be notability issues regarding the article, generally, an article must have two reliable sources that give significant coverage to the subject for it to be included on Wikipedia.
If you are assosiated to Txi Whizz, you might have a conflict of interest issue, writing an article on a subject where you have a conflict of interest with is strongly discouraged here. If you do have a conflict of interest, you are expected to disclose it.
Before you start another draft, I would strongly advise that you send your sources first to FormalDude or me, a check on the notability of the subject and the usability of the sources would greatly increase the chances of an article being moved to mainspace and published.
Finally, I would like to apologize for not informing you of the difficulty of writing BLPs, I should've done so immediately after seeing your userpage. If I can help in anyway, or if there is any questions about this paragraph, please let me know. Justiyaya 08:51, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi WhichWench, I haven't seen you edit in a while, still busy? Justiyaya 12:11, 25 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
