I really liked this game. I got all of the questions right. WikiMan20152014 (talk) 01:39, 9 May 2015 (UTC)WikiMan20152014[reply]

So Sorry

[edit]

This is in regards to the following sock puppet investigation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Deadbeat_parent/Archive I have removed any reference to myself, such as links from my own Youtube account or my own personal page (www.okabenamedia.com) from the page in question that has been attacked. I have no idea who is doing this, but I am a public school teacher, and it is likely a disgruntled former student. This same individual (under different names) also attacked me on the Stone Arch Bridge (Minneapolis) page. At this point, I'm not sure what more I can do.

Tagging users

[edit]

What the hell do you think you're doing tagging users as "blocked" or "confirmed" socks when they're not? You're not an admin or checkuser and those users have not been confirmed-anything, please stop this immediately. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 09:05, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

SPI notification

[edit]

Hi! I am a WP:SPI Clerk. Yesterday I started a sockpuppet investigation against Boudhafaq (Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Padmalakshmisx). After that, you notified the user about the investigation [1]. May I ask: why? Vanjagenije (talk) 08:23, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Very sorry if I'm doing it wrong, but I just thought I would notify them that a sockpuppet investigation was against them. WikiMan20152014 (talk) 17:34, 2 July 2015 (UTC)WikiMan20152014[reply]

It's highly suspicious when the first thing that a "new" user becomes interested in is sockpuppet cases. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 19:09, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I've had experience in the past as an IP.
It is generaly bad idea to notify users about sockpuppet investigations against them. If such a notification is needed, an admin or a clerk would notify. Notifying vandals and trolls about investigations against them just gives them recognition, which is bad (see: WP:DENY). Also, notifying them about SPIs shows them what kind of behavior to avoid, so not to be detected next time (see: WP:BEANS). Just, stop notifying users about SPIs, and leave that to clerks and admins.
