[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Spain at the 2008 Summer Olympics, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Spain at the 2008 Summer Olympics was changed by Wikitestor (u) (t) making a minor change adding "!!!" on 2008-08-18T15:53:08+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 15:53, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- I got this message after I modified the article Spain at the 2008 Summer Olympics, it has no sense, cause I did like 5 or 6 different edits and at the end, I had to take out a section that by someone's error was inside another, so I put a warning "/let this here im changing it!!!", and the bot said I ONLY did the "!!!" writing and all my work as undone, the 6 edits, and it only recognizes the last letters of my edits. I think this may have been a server error (wikipedia is saying all day errors by database etc) or such, but I didnt have any answer. Please ask me there if anything. Wikitestor (talk) 21:35, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- I noticed your frustration about ClueBot reverting your work. If you don't know, ClueBot is a program that checks Wikipedia for vandalism. Certain things trip it, like using cuss words, or deleting large portions of an article. One of the things it checks is for the use of three exclamation points, often times vandals will write stupid things on a page ending in three exclamations i.e. "I like Chicken!!!" If you are doing major work on an article and need to let people know you are making changes so they won't mess up what you are doing, it is recommended you use some of the templates here. You did the right thing by reporting the false positive on the ClueBot page. Don't let this discourage you, and thanks for your contribution to Wikipedia! Rule Breaking Records
[edit]Following I explain my personal punishments for rule breaking (aka 3RR, block evasion and calling tennisexpert a retard (he is)). I'm very proud of them:

Spain at the 2008 Summer Olympics article
[edit]Hello Wikitestor and thanks for all your hard work at the above article. Consensus has been reached by users at WP:OLY on many elements of the desired format for that type of article, including the background colours. A set of guidelines has been set out, these can currently be found at Format for Nations at the Summer Olympics Articles. If you'd be willing to we'd greatly appreciate your help in getting the Spanish page to comply with these guidelines. If you have any questions please ask on the talk page there or contact me on my talk page. Thanks again for all your hard work! Basement12 (T.C) 21:16, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry you feel like that. Part of our decision was based on Wikipedia:Colours, which suggests that the amount of colour in an article should be limited, particularly it says that colour alone should not be used to give information (as was the case for the wheat/orange colour). An example of a large, colourless table can be found here, and it was felt this could be easily understood and comply with policy.
- I understand how you may feel some of your work is being undone but I say again we all really appreciate editors like you who took on a page during games and kept it up to date, the results themselves after all are the most important part. I hope this won't have put you off working on the article as we really need the help of good editors at WP:OLY. Thanks Basement12 (T.C) 01:04, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Warning about repeated incivility
[edit]Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Here are recent examples of your incivility: 1, 2, 3, 4. Tennis expert (talk) 09:37, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Use of multiple accounts
[edit]Per a complaint at WP:AN3 about Wikitestor using multiple IP accounts to edit war on tennis articles. EdJohnston (talk) 19:22, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]This relates to an IP address (User:81.184.38.52) that is believed to also be you, if it is not then I apologise.
Would you please stop vandalising pages as you did to United States at the 2008 Summer Olympics. I'd threaten to have you blocked but you've clearly demonstrated the desire, and ability, to get around them. I therefore will simply appeal to your better nature and ask you not to continue to damage wikipedia in the way your currently are. It is a trivial but inconvenient matter for your edits to be undone. Basement12 (T.C) 01:16, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
- You state on your userpage that you use IP addresses to edit articles. Since you are blocked and can not use this account to edit articles, you may not use the IP accounts to edit articles. Thank you. Mm40 (talk | contribs) 14:14, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
Wikitestor, while I agree largely with what you are saying on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Tennis, I request that you respect the block placed upon you, and stop editing from IP accounts. If you continue to do so, not only will it make things worse for you, but it also someone undermines our position, to have an editor in disrepute involved in the discussion. Please wait until the block is over, and then you can rejoin the conversation - rst20xx (talk) 19:04, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Since the IP sock edits have continued, I'm extending the block on Wikitestor to 1 month. If you believe the block is not justified, use {{unblock|Your reason here}}. If you decide you are willing to follow our policies, let me know and we will revisit the block. EdJohnston (talk) 22:33, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
IP range blocked for 48 hours, will extend if this continues
[edit]Due to your blatant and acknowledged block evasion by IPs throughout the 61.57.0.0/16 IP range, that whole netblock has been blocked from editing for 48 hours.
This block will be extended to the 81.184 range if you continue editing from there.
The blocks to either range will be extended for longer periods of time if you continue to edit in a disruptive manner, make further personal attacks against User:Tennis expert or others, or blatantly evade the block.
You were blocked for disruption, and you are not welcome to edit for the time being. Either take the time off, review WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, 3RR and edit war policy, and agree to abide by them, or your ability to contribute to the project will be terminated by whatever means are necessary. Continued abuse like this is not acceptable. Stop it, now, and do not continue until the block is up, and edit in a constructive and polite manner at that time.
Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 05:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- As you chose to disregard the warning, and edited from the 81.184.0.0/16 IP range as well, that's also been blocked for 48 hours.
- Please stop this and find something else to do for a month. Continuing to come here and abuse other editors is not acceptable behavior. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 09:55, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- I have reordered the Talk, since this appears to be the most recent comment. EdJohnston (talk) 19:39, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Consider this your last revert for today. You are clearly involved in a edit war, and continually reverting is going to do nothing but get you blocked. I urge you to take your concerns to the talk page, or get a third opinion. Either way, do not revert again. Tiptoety talk 18:36, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
