Hi! Thank you for trying to help fix issues in the article about yourself. When you made those changes, other editors didn't know that you were trying to fix issues in your own biography, and your changes introduced some technical issues accidentally, so the person who reverted those changes was trying to protect the article.
Wikipedia has some built-in support for subjects of articles - see here for some resources: Wikipedia:Autobiography#Problems in an article about you.
I saw that you updated the links for your website and Instagram page, and I restored those links. Can you summarize the other updates you were trying to make by adding in a new introduction? If you could write a brief list of the key things that need to be updated or corrected, I can try to integrate them into the article in a more holistic way, while adding references to newspaper articles or other sources if needed, while avoiding adding in any technical issues. Hello Womanfeminist2024. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Mania Akbari, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Womanfeminist2024. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Womanfeminist2024|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:33, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Magnolia677 It looks like this person is the subject of the article, which isn't a form of paid advocacy. Looks like WP:BLPKINDNESS is the relevant guideline: "Editors should make every effort to act with kindness toward the subjects of biographical material when the subjects arrive to express concern." Lost of information missing. How I can add them with links and sources please. I am not actrees that they wrote I am actress!! Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 23:46, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is very helpful, thank you! I'll work on this. The best and easiest approach is to make a list of issues like this, so that another editor (like me) can help you and integrate the changes into the article. There are just a lot of complicated rules here on Wikipedia about how to edit articles, and the rules have good intentions about producing good-quality articles, but it can be overwhelming to try to figure out all at once. Dreamyshade (talk) 23:55, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Big thank you. I am not actress I am an internationally acclaimed intersectional feminist artist, curator, and filmmaker who gained early recognition in the Iranian underground art scene, seeking freedom beyond censorship.
Also here is some more link to show my films.

I removed the part that called you an actress, thank you for noting that as an error. I've added some of your more recent work into the article, and I can work on more of it later tonight or tomorrow.
Do you know of any newspaper or magazine articles (or similar sources) that describe you as a curator? Usually we need to be able to cite a third-party source to add something new into the article. It's not a strict requirement, but it would help. Dreamyshade (talk) 00:30, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I have here I curated films : https://www.whitechapelgallery.org/events/mania-akbari-presents-the-body-politic-iranian-women-artist-filmmakers/
And here I curated films too : https://www.doclisboa.org/2019/en/current-edition/sections/new-visions/body-politics-and-mental-territory/ Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 00:36, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've added a simple sentence for that. Also, good to note: in general Wikipedia articles about a filmmaker may not have a comprehensive list of all awards received, or all film festivals that the person's work was in, since that can become quite a long list, but it should have the most important ones. Dreamyshade (talk) 00:58, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No dear Look at my close friend Marck Cousins Mark Cousins (filmmaker). my filmmakers friends told me your wikipedia is so bad and has lots of missing and wrong information. That why I tried to fix it. Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 01:12, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much. Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 01:13, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, those are extensively detailed tables on his article! I did find some guidance at MOS:FILMACCOLADES that it can be appropriate to include tables of awards and nominations. I don't know if I have time to build that level of detail, but it's good to have the example to work from, thanks you. Dreamyshade (talk) 16:21, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please just don't add about TEN and Abbas Kiarostami!! Big thank you. Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 16:23, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like it was in Sight and Sound magazine, but I can't find the date, and I'd need that for citing it. Thanks! Dreamyshade (talk) 16:30, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes https://www.bfi.org.uk/sight-and-sound the date is Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 16:34, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Dreamyshade, belive me this information is totally wrong! unbelvable wrong information. Why I couldn't return to Iran becouse of this : The path of art is unpredictable, and my art is not separated from my life and myself. My land, Iran, is part of me, but throughout history, governments have fought with artists, this is nothing new. I never wanted to leave Iran, and I never imagined that one day I would not be able to return. On one occasion I travelled to a film festival, but before my return I realized the government had created a new profile for me and had announced through media channels that Mania Akbari had left Iran since she was HIV positive and a lesbian. At this point I realized I could never return. The government created a painful game that finished everything for me in one moment: my past, my memories, my deep connection to my history and so many other relationships. It was like a death. Here is the articel : https://filmmakermagazine.com/95218-five-women-directors-discuss-their-art-and-craft-at-the-new-horizons-film-festival/
Other articel : In 2011, when I was in the UK to screen my film, I had an interview with the BBC without a hijab. At that time, I had cancer, and my face was very different, very ill-looking. The next day, the regime chose one of my photos in which I looked very ill and around 18 websites of Hezbollah and other government media used those images of me and wrote: “Mania Akbari is a lesbian and she is HIV+. That’s why she ran away from Iran to the UK.” I didn’t have HIV, and I wasn’t a lesbian; Also, I hadn’t run away. But I couldn’t return to Iran after these fake news.

Please please please, this wrong information is making history and it is not good to making lie history. Please correct it. Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 11:39, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please correct it! honestly the luggage that Wiki use it, it is awful! What is this "a documentary about a person who died as a passenger on Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752!!!" she disdn't died !! she killed
!!! Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 (PS752/AUI752) was a scheduled international civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Kyiv, operated by Ukraine International Airlines. On 8 January 2020, the Boeing 737-800 flying the route was shot down by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) shortly after takeoff, killing all 176 occupants on board. Please correct your sentensec it is importat. It is wrong information! Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 00:29, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've updated that description to "was killed" instead of "died". I tend toward plain and simple descriptions when trying to update information in articles, but I see your point that it was unhelpfully vague. Dreamyshade (talk) 00:40, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much. Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 00:45, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Mania Akbari. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. If you have a direct connection to an article subject, as you've suggested above on this talk page, making major changes to that article is discouraged. Please see WP:COI Ertal72 (talk) 23:37, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ertal72 Please see Wikipedia:BLPKINDNESS: "The Arbitration Committee has ruled in favor of showing leniency to BLP subjects who try to fix what they see as errors or unfair material." Dreamyshade (talk) 23:39, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey stop it!I am not talking about advertising or promoting! This is my page and many information is wrong and uncorrect and it is not update! Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 23:59, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dreamyshade A caution notice is excessive, thank you for letting me know.
@Womanfeminist2024 The edits made have issues with formatting, POV tone, and a lack of reliable citations. There are helpful contributors at the WP:teahouse who can assist if you're having difficulty contributing in a constructive way. If you see issues with the article that need correction but aren't sure how to go about it, these concerns can be added to the talk:Mania Akbari page. Thank you Liz, But I added new page about the Film 10+4 by Mania Akbari with lots of sources but you delited!! Womanfeminist2024 (talk) 09:27, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Womanfeminist2024 Did you try to write a new article for 10+4? Was this with a different user account? If you can share a link to the draft or to a discussion about the draft, I may be able to look into what happened. Dreamyshade (talk) 16:13, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I did but It is awful I added 10 sources they delited! So hard! Here is all links about 10+4.
10 + 4 (Dah be alaveh chahar) by Mania Akbari. In Dah be alaveh Chahar / 10 + 4, though, circumstances are different: Mania is fighting cancer. She has undergone surgery; she has lost her hair following chemotherapy and no longer wears the compulsory headscarf; and sometimes she is too weak to drive. So the camera follows her to record conversations with friends and family in different spaces, from the gondola she had famously used in her first feature to a hospital bed. Yet, while he body shows the effects of the disease, Akbari is as tough, charismatic, and argumentative as in her previous screen appearances her luminous presence all the more alluring and precious as it becomes a sign of how fragile life itself is. Her cinematic language has been expanded and refined from the rigorous explorations of 20 Fingers, to take into account the unexpected aspects of facing simultaneously death and survival, social stigma and sympathy. Treading an elegant line between documentary and fiction, Akbari takes a daring look at complex social situations that arise in the face of mortality and emerges with a new zest for life.
