- Dear DoubleGrazing,
- I hope to find you well.
- I just read your comments on my "Draft: Eugenio Minvielle Lagos". I apologize for not doing it right from the beginning. In fact, this is the first time doing something like this and I am a bit lost :).
- I understand that I will need to edit the part where I wrote only first name "Eugenio" and replace it by his full last name or personal pronoun. That is the easy part to edit and I will do that. I have a question regarding your second comment. You wrote: "this reads like a promo piece or resume, with little or no encyclopedic content". What do you mean with that? I have checked other business man in Wikipedia such as Jean-Yven Charlier, Michael Herkemij, Arnaud de Puyfontaine, Malcolm Johnson (administrator), José Ángel Gurría, etc., and the approach that I gave to the one of Eugenio Minvielle is similar in fact I did my best to build it in the same way. I will appreciate your help to fix it on the right way. I hope that you could help me :).
- You also mentioned that "too much of the content is unsupported by referencing". I am a bit lost here, as there are are more than 20 references how many more do you need?
- Probably you are too busy to help me with the editing, could you please point me to someone who could help me?
- Wishing you a lovely day.
- Thank you and kind regards,
- Yelitza YelitzaMendoza-Pinto (talk) 14:12, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Yelitza,
- My comment about this reading like a résumé and not an encyclopaedia entry meant that there is no clear indication of why this person warrants an article in a global encyclopaedia; it basically just says that they did their job and held various positions, listing their career history step by step. What did they do that sets them apart from a thousand other business execs; what is their 'claim to fame', the thing that makes them worthy of note?
- As for the referencing, yes, there are 20+ refs, but there are still several paragraphs without a reference — where is that information coming from, in case someone wants to verify it? Which reliable source gives their date of birth, or the fact that they got an MBA from Harvard? (I'm not doubting any of these, I'm merely asking for them to be referenced.) Basically every material, private, or potentially contentious statement/fact must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable source, and the citation must follow the statement pretty much immediately; it's not enough that a source which is cited three paragraphs later provides the fact, because that won't be obvious to most readers.
- Hope this helps, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:45, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
- Dear DoubleGrazing,
- I hope to find you well.
- My apologies for my late response but I have been very busy at work. Finally, I got time today (actually I am on vacation) to work on this.
- I have changed the name of Eugenio by using his last name Minvielle or personal pronoun when applicable. I have also do more research on French media and got additional information regarding why it is important that Mr. Minvielle has an article in Wikipedia. I have added a complete new paragraph which shows the relevance of Mr. Minvielle actions focus on creating options for people to have a better health. In addition Reference 7 indicate that Mr Minvielle is considered as one of the Hispanic-Latino leaders running business in the World.
- For your questions on how can we be sure that he really studied in Harvard, date of birth etc, I believe that references are quite clear on that aspect. Reference 1 is from a well-know Spanish news paper indicating his day of birth and where he studied. Reference 2, is a press released from Unilever indicating that Minvielle their new executive hold MBA from Harvard etc.) I understand that many of the references are in Spanish or French, but after clicking on those references people can easily asked the browser to translate it into their language.
- I hope that all the points raised by you are covered.
- Wishing you a lovely day.
- Thank you and kind regards,

[edit]Hello YelitzaMendoza-Pinto. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Eugenio Minvielle Lagos, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:YelitzaMendoza-Pinto. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=YelitzaMendoza-Pinto|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:56, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

- Thank you for confirming that you are not being compensated.
- Can you also please disclose any other external relationship you may have with the subject? (You may wish to refer to WP:COI for information on this matter, before responding.) -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:13, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- Dear DoubleGrazing,
- The first time that I drafted this page on 7 January 2022, I identified as having a connection with Mr Minvielle. You can verified it on "Talk/Contribs", I quote: "This user has declared a connection. (I was Mr. Minvielle's executive assistant when he worked in the Netherlands for DE Master Blenders in 2012 and also later in 2014 the first year when he stated his own company Innit. Based on that, I do not think there is a conflict interest here as he is not my employer, client, family or friend. It is evident that to make the biography of a third party, you must have a level of closeness with that person and his entourage in order to obtain reliable information. I am basin the information on web research a a lot of information is public domain such as Newspapers, Magazines, Companies' press releases. Currently, I am living in France just in the border with Geneva and there has been in year 2021 a lot of media release in French newspapers about Mr. Minvielle, so I wondered why he is not having a biography in Wikipedia as nay other business man have theirs)". End of quote.
- I has been very honest from the beginning on this regard.
- Kindly let me know if you need anything else from my side.
- Wishing you a lovely evening.
- Thank you and kind regards,
- Yelitza Mendoza Pinto YelitzaMendoza-Pinto (talk) 14:37, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- My apologies, I had somehow managed to completely miss that notice on the draft's talk page. My mistake, entirely.
- Just for the record, though, you clearly do have a conflict of interest, as this person is your ex-colleague. However, that isn't a problem, since it has been disclosed; this only means that you are not allowed to publish this article directly, and must instead continue to go through the AfC review process, as indeed you are doing.
- Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:02, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- Dear DoubleGrazing,
- Not problem at all. Thanks to you for helping me to become a better editor.
- Wishing you a lovely evening.

- Dear Greenman,
- I hope to find you well. I deleted the part "it is not surprising that Minvielle is considered by the French media "the apostle of nutritionally correct", although the French article did explain why the well-known newspaper Le Figaro uses that term.
- My last exchanges with the previous editor led me to believe that this biography was ready for approval.
- I have pointed out several biographies of businessmen that are similar to Mr. Minvielle's, yet those are approved and published on Wikipedia.
- Wishing you a lovely day. YelitzaMendoza-Pinto (talk) 09:13, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

- Dear Tutwakhamoer,
- I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek clarification regarding the rejection of Mr. Minvielle's Wikipedia page due to a perceived lack of notability.
- I have observed a significant number of Wikipedia pages, exceeding 100, dedicated to various business personalities such as Sue Naby (CEO of Coty), Arnaud de Puyfontaine (CEO of Vivendi), among others with the same or less amount of notability of Mr. Minvielle. Despite this, Mr. Minvielle's page was rejected, prompting confusion.
- There is a substantial amount of media coverage and press releases discussing Mr. Minvielle. While I understand the need to limit references, it's essential to consider the quality and relevance of the sources. I propose utilizing only those directly linked to the provided statements.
- The rejection has raised questions, and I am seeking clarity on the criteria used for evaluation. I have made adjustments to the overall presentation, hoping to address any concerns. However, if there are specific guidelines or requirements that need to be met, kindly share them to ensure compliance.
- I appreciate your time and assistance in this matter. Your prompt response would be highly valued.
- Thank you and kind regards,
