Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Yilim, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Finding an article

[edit]

To find a good article to edit, check WikiProject Mass spectrometry, especially sections on articles by quality and importance: Wikipedia:WikiProject Mass spectrometry#Assessment; and articles by popularity: Wikipedia:WikiProject Mass spectrometry#Popular pages. There is also a tool that you can use to sort articles, for example Stub[1]and Start[2] class. Remember the goal is to move an article up two quality units: nothing to Start, Stub to C, or Start to B. --Kkmurray (talk) 03:03, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Chemistry 4558 Mass Spectrometry (Spring 2017): Proposed articles for Wiki Project

[edit]

1.Atmospheric-pressure laser ionization, This article relies largely or entirely upon a single source, more reference is needed to verify the contents.

2.Laser spray ionization, this article was an class assignment of an previous class project, classified as an stub article and mid-important, improvement is necessary.

3.Mass-analyzed ion-kinetic-energy spectrometry, this article needs to be more developed on the mechanism aspect, a figure may needed to improve the description, more reference needed.

4.Atmospheric-pressure chemical ionization, this article needs to be more developed with additional citation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yilim (talkcontribs)

Of these topics, APCI has the least overlap with other student's choices. --Kkmurray (talk) 21:11, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Final topic

I will chose APCI as my final topic.Yilim (talk) 15:26, 21 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
