Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Yushaaa, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as सैंथवार, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. Speedy deletion nomination of सैंथवार
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on सैंथवार, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as hi:सैंथवार, an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sainthwar, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. utcursch | talk 00:21, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @Utcursch , the sainthwar falling under obc section is completely false, if someone from obc community needs reservation thay have to declare themselves as kurmi first. Being a Sainthwar its my request to just not edit things back and forth and go through the list of obc communities in the citation ( that you added in the first place) , if you need to add this make a separate page for Kurmi Sainthwar. The Sainthwar page on wikipedia has to have the correct information. Yushaaa (talk) 22:36, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
- References cited in the article suggest that "Kurmi-Sainthwar" is just a synonym for "Sainthwar", and there are enough reliable sources that explicitly state that Sainthwars (not just "Kurmi-Sainthwar") are OBC (e.g. Google News / Google Scholar). If you are insisting that "Kurmi Sainthwar" is not same as "Sainthwar", please find reliable sources that explicitly state that. utcursch | talk 13:03, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
