Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that in this edit to Harborough (UK Parliament constituency), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:57, 19 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted this edit], but I may be wrong as I am doing it from memory. If you would like to open a discussion with sources on the talk page Talk:English Civil War, I will be happy to help find out what really happened. If you are not familiar with the Oxfordshire raid see First English Civil War#Cromwell's raid.

You will find my raw notes on a possible new article on that raid here with some additional sources. Including this one:

Gardener History of the Great Civil War, 1642-1649, 1889, Volume 2:

Naturally the thoughts of all who dreaded this result turned to the only soldier who had beaten Rupert in the field. It can hardly be doubted that some at least had already formed the intention of retaining Cromwell's services in that lieutenant- generalship of the New Model for which he was so eminently qualified. For the present it was possible for Parliament to avail itself of his skill as a cavalry officer without in any way infringing upon the Self Denying Ordinance, as the forty days over which his command was extended after the passing of that measure had not yet expired.

Disambiguation link notification for May 15[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited OnePoll, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page TSB Bank. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
