Green Amber[edit]

Green amber is amber exhibiting a rare coloration. This amber is a lot like the blue amber were it is only found by the mountain ranges around Santiago, Dominican Republic,[1] reportedly only from Palo Quemado mine.[2 Same as the blue amber many study have not been done on this because of the fact that its so rare any piece found is needed to be preserved. This amber has been around a little less than blue amber.

This is a green amber from the Dominican Republic.

Cause Of Coloration

Well theres many ways this could of got its cts similar to the Dominican blue amber, were it will display green when the sun light hits its face and regular yellows, oranges, and reds when its agains the light. The green could be caused from small pyrite crystals with oxidized copper. Green amber when its against a white surface will let the light particles reflect threw it thus showing regular colors of amber. On the other hand when its against a black or darker back round it lets the light reflect back at you in such a way we see it as green. This amber has a natural green color to it when you see it. This additionally has a florescent green colored hue.

Appearance

Well this type of amber has the green hue across the stone. This stone will typically have smooth edges no jagged edges. Also this stone will look as if it was oozed out of a tree like syrup and it actually was. It also might contain organic material all depending on were and when it was distributed from the tree and then mined. If you notice this amber will look a little foggy to all due to its birth and survival threw time.

Additional Facts

This amber just like the Dominican Blue Amber is a very fragrant amber. You can notice that it gives a sweet smell. This amber is ....just like all amber not sap but a resin. This amber also is little heavier than the regular amber but this can be due to different amounts of minerals in the amber. This amber also has a higher chance of containing tree parts more than insects in it. Now Check the Blue Amber and Amber page. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT FIND BECAUSE THIS TYPE OF AMBER ONLY HAPPENED IN ONE PART OF THE WORLD AND ADDITIONALLY IS THE ONLY KIND OF FOSSIL WITH BARLEY ANY SCIENTIST RESEARCHING IT BETTER.

Green amber has been deleted. If you find valid WP:reliable sources which support the content and indicate the notability of green ambe you may recreate it. However, as you have worked on it above - you should improve your draft with references first. An alternative would be to add content (with references) to the amber page.
