Requested template
[edit]Hi. I created template:BHS Navbox in response to your request for a template. --CBDunkerson 22:31, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for making the template. Its not the fact that im incompetent, its just that at the mediawiki page for templates there is so much info bull that i dont need. and taht was exactly what i was looking for. --Zack3rdbb 23:12, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. I know what you mean about the help files. I've found it easier to learn templates by experimenting than reading the documentation. Glad the template is what you were looking for. --CBDunkerson 23:52, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
Stubs
[edit]Hello,
Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.
Thanks!Lcarsdata Talk | @ | Contribs 06:50, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
- Just joining in regarding your putting {{stub}} into Bad River Chippewa Band. Use of {{stub}} is deprecated in favor of the most specific stub possible. Category:Stubs ideally should be empty. See the list Lcarsdata linked to above to see applicable stub types. Thanks, BanyanTree 21:04, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
"Math" option in "my preferences"
[edit]Well, when looking up the various options mentioned, it seems to mostly be a display option. Mine's set to HTML where possible and PNG everything else. I'm not entirely sure about the differences, so I'd look up some "computer programmer Wikipedians" and ask them about the feature. Cybertooth85 17:27, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
Stubs
[edit]Please don't create articles which only contain navboxes. If you don't have anything to say in the article, it shouldn't be created. User:Zoe|(talk) 02:12, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Instruments?
[edit]You play that many instruments? That's insane...
A short Esperanzial update
[edit]As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

wikEd
[edit]Hi, I have seen that you are using the Cacycle editor extension. This program is no longer actively maintained in favor of its much more powerful successor wikEd.
wikEd has all the functionality of the old editor plus: • syntax highlighting • nifty image buttons • more fixing buttons • paste formatted text from Word or web pages • convert the formatted text into wikicode • adjust the font size • and much, much more.
Switching to wikEd is easy, check the detailed installation description on its project homepage. Often it is as simple as changing every occurrence of editor.js into wikEd.js on your User:YourUsername/monobook.js page.

Request for Adminship
[edit]Hi, you have submited an RfA, however I am asking you to withdraw to prevent a pile on of oppose votes. Your answer to question 1 shows no reason for you to need the admin tools (fighting vandals is easy without being an admin, you can expand and wikify pages now if you want). I definitely don't want to discourage you, please continue your good contributions to wikipedia, however with so few edits and no real need for the tools I can't see this RfA succeeding. If you want to become an admin (remember though that it's not a title, award or anything like that) then try participating in some admin related tasks such as deletion discussions, page protection or reporting users to administrator intervention against vandalism. Frequent participation (and observing the existing admins' actions) will get you ready to be able to become an admin yourself. Again I don't want to discourage you but I don't see your RfA succeeding. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me on my talk page (or an admin, I'm not one). Request for Adminship
[edit]It is my regretful task to inform you that I have closed your request for adminship early as unlikely to achieve consensus. Please do not be discouraged; a number of users have had their first RfA end without consensus, but have been promoted overwhelmingly in a later request. Please continue to make outstanding contributions to Wikipedia, and consider requesting adminship again in the future. You may find Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship helpful in deciding when to consider running again. If I can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to ask. A tag has been placed on Thomas E. Dooley, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Calton | Talk 02:08, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Zack3rdbb. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Nuvola Firefox icon.png) was found at the following location: User:Zack3rdbb. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 07:26, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

The article Ann N. Reese has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unsourced one-sentence BLP on person with a career.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Abductive (reasoning) 22:49, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Nomination of Digimon card games for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Digimon card games is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Digimon card games until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Neelix (talk) 20:16, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Vincent Erazo
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Vincent Erazo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Mschilz20 (talk) 05:50, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
