September 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Ahmad Shah Massoud, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I will go ahead and fix the MOS issues in your edit. RFZYNSPY talk 04:53, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Subhas Chandra Bose. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. — DaxServer (talk to me) 09:56, 14 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8))[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with 2021 anti-Pakistan protests. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 01:19, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello, Zaid1893, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, your edit to 1971 Bangladesh genocide does not conform to Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy (NPOV). Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media.

There's a page about the NPOV policy that has tips on how to effectively write about disparate points of view without compromising the NPOV status of the article as a whole. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Questions page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Below are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Kautilya3 (talk) 01:19, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Maintain integrity of direct quotations[edit]

Your recent edit to the page 1971 Bangladesh genocide added incorrect information, so it has been reverted for now. The source contains the text "too 'Bengali'", but does not contain the text "too much influenced by Hindusim". If you feel the existing direct quotation does not capture the author's meaning, you may replace it with something else the author actually wrote or paraphrase what they wrote in your own words, but do not put your own words in quotation marks as if that's what the author actually wrote. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 01:29, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
