July 2007[edit]

I hope you add a fair share of information on the notability of John Austin Pierce. According to Google, this is going to be nominated for deletion pretty quickly. Kl4m 09:26, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good guess... Schutz 16:18, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on John Austin Pierce, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. A tag has been placed on Technology Integration for the Secondary English Classroom requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. HubHikari (talk) 16:42, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please be aware that adding a {{Construction}} template to a page that would otherwise be deleted is no guarantee that the page will in fact be kept. The page in question was not actually undergoing any sort of substantial revamp; it had been created with this template already in place. A cursory Google search did not turn up the given phrase. If you wish to discuss this with me further in good faith, you may leave a message on my talk page. --HubHikari (talk) 16:45, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Zelfius. You seem to be developing a new article, but it has been caught by the new-page patrollers who observe that it is not yet up to our standards. I've moved the article to User:Zelfius/Technology Integration for the Secondary English Classroom where you can work on it undisturbed. Please note that we require reliable sources to establish the truth of article content, so this article still has a ways to go. Let me know if you need any further assistance. The article can be moved back once you are sure it is complete and will meet the normal page standards. See the 'Move' tab at the top of the page.
