My Planning

Number of Continents

[edit]

¡Hello, F3rn4ndo!

Thanks for your answer to my question on this page [[1]] Another question: In which country(ies) did you learn there were six continents? Does everyone learn the same thing there or do you get into heated arguments about Antartica? :) Thanks! Dblomgren 23:18, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image in signature

[edit]

I'm hoping you're be willing to remove it, per WP:SIG#Images "Images of any kind should not be used in signatures", thanks --Michael Billington (talkcontribs) 10:26, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Opus Dei RFC

[edit]

After lots of NPOV problems, I have recently done a major rewrite on the Opus Dei article and am requesting comments on its talk page. I think the new page is better, but there are a lot of single-purpose accounts who have been edit warring with me over it. I noticed that last April, you commented some on the article and made some suggestions I've tried to implement. Could you look over the page and comment on whether the rewrite is an improvment and maybe help out in the ensuing discussion? --Alecmconroy 11:50, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Auunicol.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Auunicol.png. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Escudo de Cúcuta...

[edit]

Hello, I realize your Spanish may be better than mine, but, the English translation and syntax change you made to:

Hasta que la plata nos separe (2006) (Until Money do Us Apart) TV Series

makes no sense. Literally, translates as Until the silver separates to us. Silver is money. The best translation is Until Money Separates Us or Until Money Parts Us.

I do realize that you probably have seen the show directly. I only have seen limited clips. Please see which translation you like and then please make a change. As it stands now, the sentence makes no sense. Morenooso 00:33, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hi there, I think the title is meant to be a sarcasm to the expression which is also used in english as "until (or till) death do us apart". I'll let you decide, it's fine with me.. --((F3rn4nd0 ))(BLA BLA BLA) 00:42, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You know what? I like your second thought - Til Death Do Us Apart or even Til Death Do Us Part. I would rather see you make the change because I don't want the next editor to think I am trying to over-ride you and take possession of the page. I am working on cleaning up some Spanish articles. Please see:

Gracias, Morenooso 01:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About the edit to his directing credit, yes, he is not American but was placed in the category for having produced an episode of Ugly Betty. Not many foreign nationals get an opportunity like this. It is probably a tip of the hat to his contribution to the series with its Televisa predecessors.
I placed it there but will bow to you on this. Morenooso 17:10, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sign your posts....

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! alphachimp 07:32, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

help to move page

[edit]

{{helpme}}

Hello, I need the assistance of an admin to move the article Valledupar to Valledupar, Cesar can someone help please?--((F3rn4nd0 ))(BLA BLA BLA) 05:37, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The way to do this is to request it on Wikipedia:Requested moves, which User:CyclePat seems to have already done. After waiting for a while for possible oppose votes to surface, an admin will delete Valledupar, Cesar and move Valledupar to it. GracenotesT § 06:01, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Medellin

[edit]

Please go to the Requested Moves process for moving the article as this is not uncontroversial. Naming for the sake of consistency in a single category is not a widely agreed upon principle. Thanks. --Polaron | Talk 17:21, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Muchas gracias,

Changes to cucuta
Until the information about the GFDL status gets verified from those websites I recommend you stop adding information related to that source or adding the spam you added in the spanish wiki into the english wiki. What are you trying to achieve? another block? take a break!!
--((F3rn4nd0 ))(BLA BLA BLA) 04:23, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Traslation

[edit]

Translation 2

[edit]

The real name of the city is "San José de Cúcuta". "San José" for the name of the father of Jesus and "Cúcuta" by an indigenous group called Barí. Cúcuta means "House of goblins"

Gracias,

Unspecified source for Image:Atlanticomap.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Atlanticomap.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:21, 20 February 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Bkell (talk) 03:21, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Andres Lopez redirect

[edit]

If you actually looked at the article history I was not the one who created the article in the first place. The reason I left a redirect as opposed to moving or deleting the page is so that someone searching for the name without using the specialized characters present in the Andrés lópez article it redirects to would still be able to find it. North America contiene a México

[edit]

Hola.

US, Can, Mex), igualmente válida.

--74.110.218.100 22:12, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
