{{helpme}} I posted Michael Alan Welker's biography few minutes ago. But I could not find it by searching the name Michael Alan Welker. Was that been deleted again? Zoey Zhang (talk) 16:43, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your only non-deleted contributions are to your talk page here. I see Welker, Michael, but that was deleted once, yesterday. Either your new page was deleted or never created successfully. What is the name of the page you created? --Mysdaao talk 16:50, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The name is Michael Alan Welker. Thank you.Zoey Zhang (talk) 16:52, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The only deletion occurred yesterday but the site records no other contributions by you, especially not at Michael Alan Welker. Please check your browser whether the page was really saved. If you have not got a copy of the text you wanted to submit, I am sorry that it cannot be recovered by Wikipedia but it might still exist in your browsing history (browser's back button). It's ok, I keep the file I posted. I just redid it. Thank you.

A common cause of the problem you had before is clicking on the Show preview button instead of the Save page button. You always have to click on Save page to save the edit. Please let me know if there are any more questions. Thanks! --Mysdaao talk 17:00, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Michael Alan Welker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I will add more content of Dr. Welker. Now I am waiting for more information, will finish it tomorrow. Can I keep it, or I have to create again tomorrow since this one doesn't meet the wiki requirement.

A tag has been placed on Michael alan welker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Proposed deletion of Michael Alan Welker[edit]

The article Michael Alan Welker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable academic. No independent sources in the article and only two papers with more than 10 citations in google scholar.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
