Conflict of interest

Hi Zombat13,

I have done some clean up on Grant Showbiz. Thanks for your contributions there. I would refer you to Wikipedia's policies on conflict of interest about editing articles in which one has a personal stake. It IS permitted, but one has to be extra conscientious about ensuring all facts/claims are well-referenced to reliable secondary sources. Otherwise - recommended form is to restrict oneself to constructive commentary/suggestions on the talk page. There's some further info at WP:AUTO. Good practice is to publish info somewhere else where it can then be easily referenced by independent wikipedia editors. If one has press cuttings etc, the Internet Archive is a suitable repository. One thing that could be looked into is finding a good photo that could be uploaded to Wikimedia under a creative commons licence. Wwwhatsup (talk) 14:17, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
