As of today, I am taking a Wikibreak from all things Ed, Edd n Eddy. -- Elaich talk 19:14, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a Note

[edit]

Hey, hope you have a good holiday!

For the part i added for the Big Picture Show, I just wanted to clarify with you, that the article was in the November issue that i have with me.

And I've taken it out as it offers nothing that hasn't already been said even if it is from a different source. treelo radda 18:39, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Should Adult Swim task force cover anime and off-network programming?

Level 3!?

[edit]

You are joking, right? If not, please regard that it's called a mistake!--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 17:54, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please WP:AGF about your fellow editors. The edits may be unsourced WP:OR, but they are factual and not vandalism. A simple rewrite if you dislike the tone and asking for a source or finding one yourself would have sufficed. Do not accuse others of vandalism. You may like to read WP:OWN as you seem to be very attached to retaining the article as you wish, to the extent of shouting at other editors (not just User:Editor510) in edit summaries [1] and claiming vandalism for their good faith edits. That is considered very bad manners, and a level 3 warning is appropriate only if the obvious intent was vandalism, as is explicitly stated at Wikipedia:UTM#Multi-level_templates. Simply explain to them your opinion, and it may be a simple change in wording such as saying another sentence which describes the different date a series came out in another country, or adding a cite, is all that needs to be done to achieve a version with which everyone is happy and by which the articles are improved. It could be that other editor even got the date it aired wrong, but made a simple mistake, which is not vandalism. Wikipedia is a collaborative venture, and that's how the articles best improve and a good atmosphere conducive to keeping editors on the project is maintained. Consider this a level 3 warning (just joking :) ) Sticky Parkin 19:56, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have reviewed some Wiki policies...

[edit]

Your edits do smell like Ownage. I do believe that the warning I was given is pot-kettle-kettle-pot (that means you are a hypocrite in all due respect, if you don't speak British). Also, it helps not to focus attention to just one thing. I am not attempting to bully, hurt, or anger you. I am just stating that you should really look at your wrongs before you look at mine. Thanks. :)--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 10:13, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I went looking for the edit that has caused such a furor, and surprise! It's nowhere to be found! So, now nobody can even look at it to see what the problem was. If you got some friendly admin to delete it, there's a lot more brewing here than an accusation of vandalism. -- Elaich talk 17:35, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, it was a blip. Just leave it. Don't do a 66.213.25.12 and stalk me...--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 12:44, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Bangles

[edit]

Apologies for the lateness of this reply, but I'm not here very often any more. Sorry about the Bangles edit; I didn't check the history very thoroughly, I'm afraid, so I assumed that comment was an overly-POV bit that nobody else had gotten around to removing yet. I do think you were overly pessimistic about Bell247's reaction, though, as I see from the history that to this date (three months later) s/he still hasn't put it back. -- CWesling (talk) 03:09, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:TOON rollcall

[edit]

Hello Elaich, it's been a while huh? You might remember adding your interest to work as part of the Cartoon Network Wikiproject here, since you did this there has been very little activity with few to none of the members participating or have been idle for some time and as such may be mothballing the Wikiproject as inactive. I'm going over the list for WP:TOON and need to know if you wish to still be a member. I know you might have not have edited in some time (at least through this account) but I'll wait until 5th January 2010 to see whether or not you still wish to be a part of this or not. If you don't respond to this notice specifically by mentioning it at WT:TOON (not my talkpage or here, I won't be watchlisting talkpages) or removing your name from the list I'll assume you are no longer interested and will remove your name. Hope you decide to work here again. treelo radda 18:12, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Main page appearance: Ed, Edd n Eddy

[edit]

This is a note to let the main editors of Ed, Edd n Eddy know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on July 23, 2012. You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/July 23, 2012. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask featured article director Raul654 (talk · contribs) or his delegate Dabomb87 (talk · contribs), or start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:Today's featured article/requests. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. The blurb as it stands now is below:

Ed, Edd n Eddy logo

Ed, Edd n Eddy is an animated television series created by Danny Antonucci and produced by Canada-based a.k.a. Cartoon. It premiered on Cartoon Network on January 4, 1999, and ended on November 8, 2009 with the premiere of the series' TV movie finale, Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show. Designed to resemble classic cartoons from the 1940s to the 1970s, the series revolves around three adolescent boys known as "the Eds", who constantly invent schemes to make money from their peers to purchase jawbreakers. Their plans usually fail, leaving them in various predicaments. Before signing a contract with Cartoon Network, Antonucci approached Nickelodeon, but the channel demanded creative control of the show, which Antonucci did not agree to. Several specials, shorts, and video games either based on the series or featuring the series' characters have been produced. Viewed from 31 million households in 29 countries by both children and adults, Ed, Edd n Eddy received positive reviews and several awards and nominations. It remains the longest-running original Cartoon Network series and Canadian-made animated series to date. (more...)
