Vesna De Vinča (born Vesna Jugović, Serbian: Весна Југовић / Весна де Винча; born 28 October 1957) is a Serbian television author, journalist,writer, editor and producer. She has over 50 documentary, exclusive TV portraits to her credit. [1]

Biography

Since 1993, Vesna de Vinča has been the exclusive TV program editor in the Documentary program of the Serbian state TV network Radio Television of Serbia. Her TV programs were broadcast via RTS satellite, via RTV Pink, the most popular private television in South East Europe, and on BN TV and BN TV satellite in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 2004 she is running her private "De Vinca production". She is author of the book "Nelson Mandela’s final message" / Inspired by the last interview given by great statesman. Since 2006 De Vinča has served as a jury member on the ÉCU The European Independent Film Festival organized and led by the Oscar winner Scott Hiller.[2]

In her PhD thesis - "Exclusive TV Journalism," De Vinca specifically objectified comprehensive knowledge - representing the quintessence of producing a TV exclusive - that hadn't previously been exposed to the scientific community. The attempt to define the categories, detect the paths and the principles of exclusive television journalism, and finally the contemplative design of an entirely new model of making a TV exclusive - constituted the fundamental intent of the thesis.[citation needed]

Exclusive interviews

TV Serial "Top Encounters" (1993–2011) is an exclusive documentary programs[5] in the form of philosophical TV portraits of worldwide famous people interviewed by De Vinca, from a broad spectrum of politics, science, culture and documentaries, discovering also the untouchable situations. More than 50 celebrities were guests of De Vinca, and some of her previous guests were:

Humanitarian work and other activities

Vesna de Vinča has started and created numerous humanitarian action across the world. She is author of "Serbia, the Land of Lilacs” project, established in 2007, supported by royal families from Europe : HRH Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia, HRH Princess Barbara of Liechtenstein and Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus led by HRH Princ Sixte-Henri de Bourbon Parme, planted over 8,000 lilacs in Serbia and in the world.[10][11][12][13][14]"Belgrade Calling! Save Christmas trees! ” was an action supported by Mensa, Olympic Committee of Serbia and European Rotaract org.) saving more than 2,000 trees. [15][16] Fashion and beauty events by De Vinča Production organized many fashion shows and beauty events. As a general producer organized the Fashion Week in Greece in Thessalonica in 2007, 2008 and 2009, and "Balkan Beauty ambassador"- international events in Porto Carras in Greece, working with FASHION TV . [17] As a public figure Ms. De Vinča provided full 4-year university scholarships for more than 300 young women. She is President of Miss Serbia and Miss Montenegro organizations and owner of licenses for Miss World from owner Julia Morley and Miss Universe from owner Donald Trump for both states, Serbia and Montenegro. Working with the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem she donated medical equipment to hospitals in Kraljevo and Slankamen in Serbia.

Awards

Nobel laureate Ivo Andric Academy Award. For the screenplays and the spectacles, she produced, dedicated to forgotten personalities and events of our past Vesna de Vinca was rewarded with: Nobel laureate Ivo Andric Academy Award - Special contribution to the Serbian Culture for the artistic illumination of exceptional historical figures of the Serbian people.

International Lilac Society - Annual award as author of the unique project “ Serbia land of lilacs”.
