Vikrant Massey is an Indian actor. He is noted for his leading roles in TV series, Dharam Veer (2008), Balika Vadhu (2009), Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo (2010), V The Serial (2012) and Qubool Hai (2013) and in Bollywood movies Lootera and Dil Dhadakne Do.[1]
Career
Massey is also a trained ballet dancer and has worked with Shiamak Davar,[2] and acted as a choreographer on various shows.[citation needed]
He played the role of Shyam Madan Singh in the superhit show Balika Vadhu on Colors TV. He starred in Balika Vadhu with his co-star Vibha Anand which became a big success. He later played the lead role in Nikhil Sinha & Rakesh Paswan's Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo on NDTV Imagine as Murli, husband of Bharti.[3] He has also acted in Disney Channel India's Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, Star Plus's Kahaan Hoon Main and the role of Dharam in NDTV Imagine's Dharam Veer.
Vikrant charmed the audiences with his portrayal as Ayaan Ahmed Khan, one of the lead role in Zee TV's series Qubool Hai after replacing Rishabh Sinha.[4] As Ayaan, Vikrant created a new image: the angry young man image and his onscreen pairing with Ketki Kadam a.k.a. Humaira was loved by the audience.
Massey made his Bollywood debut in Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera (2013), along with Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha.[1][5]
He has been a part of various television commercials such as Zatak Deo, Cadbury, FINOLEX LED, Nescafe, Khazana Jewels, Samsung Galaxy, Cornetto and Idea 4G.
