History
Walton-Le-Dale Arts College & High School was opened in 1957 as a 3 form entry secondary school for boys and girls aged 11–15 years. The school grew gradually until, in 1977, it was reorganised as an 11-16 comprehensive community arts college. The school submitted a bid for dual specialist status in performing arts and business and enterprise in 2005.[1] They used to be an E block which used to be the schools sports hall but now it only goes to D block.
