I would like to nominate this article as an FAC. I am looking for help at clearing up any potential issues with the article before I do so. I'm not very good at image sourcing so if anybody could review those before I make the nomination it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks, Display name 99 (talk) 00:39, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

- Suggest a runthrough of the article for MOS issues. For example, 14th Vice President of the United States is problematic because it is two links but appears to be only one - see MOS:LINK.
- I respectfully disagree with this example. That format is standard for presidents and vice presidents. Display name 99 (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
- Also suggest a runthrough for consistent formatting of citations
- Suggest scaling up the map
- Done. Now 300px. Display name 99 (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:John_C_Breckinridge-04775-restored.jpg: suggest including both license sets in the Licensing section, split off to show which applies to what
- I'm not sure what other license there is. Display name 99 (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:Confederate_States_of_America_General-collar.svg should include a licensing tag for the original design
- I'm not sure what this would be or where to find it. Display name 99 (talk) 13:55, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:John_C._Breckinridge_from_Waveland_Collection.jpg: when/where was this first published? Same with File:John_C._Breckinridge_by_Jules_Émile_Saintin_1860.jpg, File:John_C._Breckinridge_by_E._F._Andrews.jpg, File:John_C._Breckinridge_CSA.jpg
- I couldn't find a date for the E.F. Andrew portrait. It was painted in 1899 and apparently sold to a museum in 1910. Everything else is done. Display name 99 (talk) 13:55, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:RPLetcher.jpg needs a US PD tag, and if the author is unknown how do we know they died over 100 years ago?
- The tag has been added. We do know that the image was first published in 1855, so I'm extremely confident that he died over 100 years ago. Even if he didn't, why would that prevent us from using it? Display name 99 (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:Gen._John._C._Breckenridge,_Ky._C.S.A_-_NARA_-_528274.jpg: is this really a USGov work? Brady's article suggests his Civil War photos were self-financed
- Good observation. Brady led a private company. I've removed that tag. Display name 99 (talk) 19:59, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:John-C.-Breckinridge-bust-by-James-Paxton-Voorhees.jpg: needs a US PD tag for the sculpture. Same with File:John_C._Breckinridge_statue_Lexington_KY.jpg, which also needs a date of death for the sculptor
- I've added both PD tags. For the latter, the WP article only says that it was sculpted by the "Henry-Bonnard Bronze Company." Display name 99 (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
- File:ElectoralCollege1860.svg needs a source for the data and the base map
- File:John_C._Breckinridge_by_Nicola_Marschall.jpg needs a US PD tag and a date of death for the creator.

- Nikkimaria, thank you for reviewing this article. I've done what I can for now. I'll try to do the rest within 24 hours. Display name 99 (talk) 01:03, 14 May 2017 (UTC)
