What is Wilfred in the Wilfred_(Australian_TV_series)?[edit]

Is he a hallucination, a magic being, a product of the subconscious mind or his nature isn't explained at all? OsmanRF34 (talk) 08:03, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's left deliberately vague. As I recall though, there was an episode in the US remake of the series where someone else (I think he was called "Bruce" - played by Dwight Yoakam) could also see Wilfred in his guy-in-a-suit version - and could talk to him and had owned him before Ryan (Adam) did. But the US version is significantly different from the Australian series - so who really knows? So unless Bruce is also an hallucination or something, (and I don't recall whether anyone else can see Bruce) - we'd have to accept that something somewhat "real" is going on here. But it's a work of fiction - there doesn't have to be either explanation or consistency. SteveBaker (talk) 14:08, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I just finished watching the American series in a two-week marathon. The character simply seems absurd. It's not shown, but it's implied he can make phone calls, so he can presumably be heard as a human by those who don't see him. The attitude of others in his presence is like that towards a misbehaving three-year old: you neither "see" nor "hear" nor react to him. In the season three finale of the US show, Elijah Wood finds a huge ruined stone (probably concrete) statue of a Wilfred-like being. μηδείς (talk) 18:03, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I can't find the quote to back this up, but I read that the creators deliberately left the question unaddressed so he could be whatever you want him to be. It looks as though the US version may consider answering it, but that could just be a giant tease to screw with us. Mingmingla (talk) 18:13, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He's an actor in a furry suit; it's a fictional TV show. You're welcome.Gzuckier (talk) 01:37, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's the answer to "Who is Paul Gann?" μηδείς (talk) 02:11, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,just make a simple question.[edit]

Sorry, but Wikipedia can't give medical advice for good reasons as explained on WP:MEDICAL. We advise you consult a doctor or other medical professional if you are concerned. 86.163.125.91 (talk) 09:29, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you are concerned about your cat, you may consider seeing a veterinarian. But we cannot give you advice about if there's a problem or what that problem might be. Falconusp t c 12:35, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We can't give advice on whether you might catch some infection, but you might like to read our article on Halitosis and also Infectious disease#Transmission. Even if we were allowed to give advice, without knowing the cause of the cat's problem, there is no way to calculate the probability of transmission of infection. Personally, I don't like cats and dogs licking my face, but some people seem to be quite happy to allow that. I don't know if there have been any studies of disease transmission from animals to humans via breath, but my observation of the behaviour of pet owners suggests that the probability might be low. On an episode of "My Cat from Hell", the subject cat had severe halitosis. The host of the show is a psychologist, not a vet, so he had the owner take the cat to a vet. The cat had some sort of disease (I forget just what) that could have been fatal to the cat if left untreated. So take your cat to your vet as soon as possible, and you can ask the vet, "By the way, is whatever the cat has transferable to a human?" ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 12:44, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This question sounds like a poorly worded version of somethign like this: My cat has bad breath. Will I get sick if I smell it? Mingmingla (talk) 18:05, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Catching illnesses from cats - I couldn't find anything about their breath though. --.Yellow1996.(ЬMИED¡) 01:15, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How the 2005 Infiniti FX35s and FX45s were brought to Turkey?[edit]

I found lots of Infiniti FX35s and FX45s on the road in Ankara and on the Internet. The Infinitis were come to Turkey after 2010. Are they imported by independent importers before 2010 (means oto galeri in Turkish language, but, that word is also used for used car dealerships) or not? --Kiel457 (talk) 22:09, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oto galeri just means automobile dealership in Turkish and could refer to both new or used vehicles. There are such dealerships that specialize in importing high-end vehicles from different makers. The two models you mention could well fall into that category. --Xuxl (talk) 07:31, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

We do not answer requests for medical advice. AndyTheGrump (talk) 23:56, 9 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As with your related question a couple of sections up, if your cats are sick you need to find a veterinarian, and if you're concerned that you might be sick or become sick, you need to find a medical doctor or otherwise qualified professional. Which is not us. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:21, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Your own health is unlikely to be at risk just because your cats ate poison. You must take great care that you are not eating the same poison, but the cats' breath is extremely unlikely to infect you with a poison that they have eaten. Are you sure that the problem is some kind of poison, and not an illness. If you can afford it, consult qualified professionals as advised above. Dbfirs 21:40, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
