June 21[edit]

I would like some help with the creation of an article: Articles for creation/Monsanto Technology LLC v Cefetra BV and Others, it was declined due to my use of external links. I realize that the method I used is not ideal, but many of the existing Wikipedia articles I used for comparison are referenced in the same way. I did not find WP:REFB particularly helpful. If someone can provide me with a little more direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, Mike MayorMike1966 (talk) 02:24, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed the references in the lead section - take a look at what I did and do the same in the rest of the article. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 07:07, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - I have improved on the sources. Please check if it is ok. And any more suggestions before this article can be accepted? Thank you.

Moving a new article from 'Articles for Creation' to geting it reviewed[edit]

The wikipedia page in question is Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/TheGenealogist

I put this article together last week but despite hitting the save page button, it seems stuck in the 'Articles for creation' category and says it has not been submitted for review. Apologies I'm quite new to this and wondered if you could advise what I need to do please to get the article submitted for review? many thanks, David Osborne Wgc120 (talk) 08:51, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • You can add {{subst:submit}} at the top of your article, and it will be submitted. However, I happen to have heard of TheGenealogist anyway as a close relative of mine is a regular exhibitor at Who Do You Think You Are Live?, and anything that cites multiple issues of Who Do You Think You Are and Your Family Tree is notable so I'm passing the article right now. • Wgc120, for goodness sake! Count yourself lucky that it got reviewed as quickly as it did. You will now find it at TheGenealogist. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:47, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for telling the reason why the article was rejected and would love to be helped in publishing it. Silvia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Erasmus Solutions in Cooperation (talkcontribs) 15:10, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please help me fix this to your standards. My uncle was a marvelous man and he deserves this. Thank you.

Try reading WP:REFB on how to format your references. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 21:01, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
