Request on 01:12:52, 13 October 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by TDG775

[edit]

Hi, I am trying to create a page for Davie Fogarty. An entrepreneur from Australia. At only 26 he has achieved a great amount and I felt he should have a Wikipedia page. I sourced content from online articles I found. This is my first article. Any help is highly appreciated.

@TDG775: The sources you have are almost all worthless, with only the 9news source being usable. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 02:46, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback! Have made edits. For review, please!

Hi Thenethfarious. Rejection is meant to convey that the topic is not notable (not suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia). Adding a source that has two sentences about it raising capital (a type of coverage explicitly excluded as trivial by the corporate notability guideline) doesn't change that. No amount of editing can fix the problem, so volunteers do not intend to review the draft again. greetings, i would like help, because i wanted to add this fangame to wikipedia, there is a lot of confusion about it & people don't know what are the history & versions of it are available.

i would like the article to be like the AM2R (the metroid unoficial remake), so it can also be included as a reference to the Night Slashers arcade article. these night slashers fan remakes seem to be good works, but it was hard for me to keep track of what versions are the most current, so it would be nice for wikipedia to feature them in some capacity. thanks in advance. 2806:103E:1C:2DA8:79D7:8080:9589:B45F (talk) 08:25, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The difference is that AM2R got coverage as a consequence of both the Game Awards nod and Nintendo's DMCA takedown request on it both being reported on. Unless this fangame has anything similar, it's not going to cut it as an article. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 18:44, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this team meets the notability based on Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Notability

Kevinw33 Fixed the link, the whole URL is not necessary. That league seems to not be a fully professional league. 331dot (talk) 15:22, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
331dot Individual player notability requires professionalism, however, team notability for US teams requires either full professional or participation in the "national cup" which is the US Open Cup. That is listed here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Notability
Kevinw33Again, you don't need the whole URL. Then you will need to appeal to the last reviewer with that information. 331dot (talk) 15:42, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I would love help as to why this draft was declined. This is a notable topic as Ojivolta has a few secondary sources, as listed in the references. Is there supposed to be a certain amount of secondary sources? How many sources should there be exactly in order to be considered a notable topic? I have seen pages that have minimal sources but have been published. Let me know, thank you! Gloriajjoz (talk) 17:33, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

TSIS is too sparse to be any good, and GQ is barely any better. Neither source are usable. We're looking for (both) at least three independent, in-depth sources with editorial control and at least one independent, in-depth source with editorial control for each and every biographical claim that could be challenged. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 18:39, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
