Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is a publicly owned recreation area located on Casco Bay on the southeastern side of Freeport, Maine. The state park was created when the Lawrence M.C. Smith family donated the land to the state in 1969. It contains over 200 acres (81 ha) of protected land and is used for hiking, birdwatching, picnicking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.[1] Park trails traverse both forested lands and rocky shoreline, offering views of Casco Bay and the Harraseeket River.[2]
