A tag has been placed on Draft:European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from CEA-PME. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The page Draft:European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 10:14, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 10:14, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I was asked by the board of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME to create a new Wikipedia page as the confederation changed name. I kindly ask for the blocking/deletion to be removed as I am not infringing upon any copyright or rule. Thank you very much European Entrepreneurs (talk) 10:20, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Your username and your requested username both represent the organisation contrary to the English Wikipedia's username policy. You have not declared your paid conflict of interest contrary to the WMF's terms of use. You most definitely are infringing. Cabayi (talk) 17:53, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Would you be able to suggest an acceptable user name?
As explained in the email to the Wikipedia support, we are merely attempting to update and rectify the information about the confederation European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME (ex. CEA-PME). There is information available online on the confederation and there is no conflict of interest involved in the editing of the article at hand. As the management changed, it is necessary to update the online presence of the confederation for the sake of the stakeholders that are represented. Thank you in advance European Entrepreneurs (talk) 11:24, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We can't pick a username for you. Your username needs to be individualistic in nature. Your real name is not required. If you wish to indicate your organization in your username, you may format your proposed username as "JohnDoe of EuropeanEntrepreneurs" or similar.
There is no "Wikipedia support" so I'm not sure who you emailed. You gravely misunderstand conflict of interest; you say you were asked by the board to edit about them and I assume you were asked because you are associated with them(but even just them asking you is an association). This is unquestionably a conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 11:35, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would also add that if you are editing at the request of the board, please read WP:BOSS and have the board read it too. 331dot (talk) 11:37, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for clarifying the Username issue, if allowed, I will try to select an acceptable one.
I fully understand the conflict of interest point you are raising. The reason I had to create a new page on "European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME" is because the confederation has changed name back in 2021 but nobody had updated the Wikipedia page. The person who created the page and titled it "CEA-PME" has not left any indication of the account used to do so and cannot be reached anymore, and thus I was unable to simply update the name.
That is why I attempted to create a new page with the updated name of the confederation and the one of the new president and co-president as verifiable on the confederation's website/LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/european-entrepreneurs-cea-pme/ / https://www.european-entrepreneurs.org/european-entrepreneurs-welcomes-new-president-new-co-president-and-new-members/) but I erroneously incurred into the aforementioned infringements. I now understand how without context my actions might have been perceived as not in line with the guidelines, so I apologise for the lack of information provided previously.
Considering my explanation, would you be able to assist me in solving this issue? Hence, updating the "CEA-PME" page with the correct publicly available information.
I could not think of another way of ensuring that the information on Wikipedia would be updated, and thus I would be really grateful if you could point me in the right direction.
Again, thank you for your explanation, and for your time. European Entrepreneurs (talk) 13:11, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You may make a new unblock request for someone else to review in which you explain how you will contribute consistent with the conflict of interest policy. It would also help(though it's not required) if you described any other topics that you were potentially interested in contributing about. 331dot (talk) 13:15, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for the information, it is much appreciated! I shall make a new unblock request and be clear in explaining how I will contribute in accordance with the conflict of interest policy. Thank you again for your understanding and for the help! Requested username:

Request reason:
Thank you to the reviewer/s for the precious feedback on how to positively contribute to the article at hand. I would kindly request the possibility to change username in accordance with the guidelines exemplified by the previous reviewer. Moreover, I would like to clarify the reason for my contribution and the logic behind it. As I was explaining to the previous reviewer, I have erroneously attempted to create this page without providing the community with the right context, which I shall do now.
The reason I tried to create a new page on "European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME" is because the confederation has changed name back in 2021 but nobody had updated the Wikipedia page, which reported a wrong information, and would have made it difficult for anybody interested to effectively find this page/organisation.
I attempted to modify the title "CEA-PME" to " European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME" only to realise that it it was not possible. I thought that my only choice was to create a new page, where I would enter the updated name and then make a comment on the old one (CEA-PME) to please refer to the newest page for the most updated information on the confederation. Moreover, in light of the most recent internal elections, that were advertised on LinkedIn and on the official website fo the confederation and of one of the members (please see: https://www.linkedin.com/company/european-entrepreneurs-cea-pme/ ; https://www.european-entrepreneurs.org/european-entrepreneurs-welcomes-new-president-new-co-president-and-new-members/ ; https://www.linkedin.com/posts/bvmw_bvmw-mittelstand-kmu-activity-7135613418589347840-ti66?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop) I attempted to update the titles of the people mentioned in the article, by using the information available on the official website of CEA-PME, in the section where the structure and leadership of the confederation is explained (https://www.european-entrepreneurs.org/european-entrepreneurs-board/). In the end I erroneously incurred into the aforementioned infringements due to the lack of context when opening the new page.
I would therefore kindly ask for the possibility to rectify the username and to either be allowed to publish the new page (and have the old one refer to this one) or to receive assistance in changing the title of the old page "CEA-PME" into "European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME".
Moreover, as a graduate in International Studies, I would also like to have the possibility to contribute in the future to topics relating to the functioning of the EU and the dynamics occurring in the Europe and geopolitics in a more broad term.
Apologies again for the lack of information in the previous interactions, and thank you for the possibility of explaining myself.
