Growth hormone treatment for bodybuilding[edit]

I think your topic is so good that it deserves its own article. The existing growth hormone article is large and if you review the talk page you will see that we split several topics off into separate articles: Growth hormone treatment, Growth hormone deficiency, HGH quackery, and now Growth hormone treatment for bodybuilding.

The only problem I created is that when I block-pasted your new paragraphs into the new article, I am credited as the author. I explained this on the talk:Growth hormone treatment for bodybuilding page. May I suggest you open the new article, block-extract the original paragraphs, and re-paste them so you are credited with them in the Page history? Could you please cite some scientific sources in your article rather than basing it all exclusively on hearsay? I do not disagree with nor will I attempt to refute anything you wrote in the article as I very much believe it to be intellectually honest. I also don't doubt that there are many sources of information on HGH available online that refute the data suggested in the one study cited on the discussion page. But just telling someone "Pro bodybuilders use it, so therefore it works, do some homework" is something of an unacceptable answer by Wiki standards when responding to criticism on a subject you profess to be something of an authority on.SubXerox 19:56, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I know you watch the page pretty closely, so I wanted to let you know I updated the bio of him. The previous version seemed to have been copyrighted, and ShadowyCaballero (talk • contribs) has indicated he did not in fact haver permission to post it. I didn't want to revert to earlier versions (as is tandard procedure) since it would have removed so much work. I did it quickly and in part off the top of my head, so if it not to much trouble, you might want to look it over and see if I got most of the material correct. Regarding your query[edit]

Howdy! Just posting to let you know that I'm not out to get you, it's simply procedure that any unsourced, unlicensed images be served with a notice and, if nothing is done about them, deleted. If I hadn't done it, I'm sure one bot or another would have come through and done the same at some point in the future. You've stated that you don't know the license that the images are available under, and arent certain of the source. In cases like this, it's highly likely that the copyright remains with the photographer or owner of the site that the image is displayed on, and by default such pictures aren't allowed on a "free" encyclopedia. However, if you believe there to be a case for fair use for these images, you can replace the tags I added with {{Fairusein|article}}. Fair use doesn't require attribution, though it's preferred. You do need to give a rationale for the tags use, though; ie that you believe that the image adds significantly to the article, that it's being used for strictly informational purposes, that no equivalent free-license pictures are available, that using the image doesnt affect the ownership of the copyright of the photograph, and that it doesnt affect the ability of the owner to sell or distribute the photograph in any way. The inclusion of "Loose Change" has been discussed endlessly on the talk page (probably in the archives now); the consensus was that it did not belong on the main page. It's not a question of ideologoy; the other movies you mention in the edit summary are major theatrical or television releases, while Loose Change is amateur. Hi, I saw your edit to one of the steroids, you added two external links (references) to the text. Though the external page does tell about the info contained in the document, I am a bit weary if they are good references. I don't think these pages can be described as a reliable source, pages from companies, blogs or general organisations/clubs &c. are not reviewed, and even with the best intentions from their side, if they have wrong info (which may be the case if it is not independently checked by experts), that propagates into the Wikipedia. Could you reconsider these links, or back them up with scientific references? Cheers! Thanks for uploading Image:Yahya.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:RugerMini14002small.jpg[edit]
