Ford Reactor[edit]

GREAT WORK on creating the Ford Nuclear Reactor article! And thank you for making Wikipedia a better encyclopedia.

I'm a grad student at North Carolina State University in Nuclear Engineering and had been planning on making that article myself actually. I partially wanted to see a good article on it as a part of my continuing effort to make articles on university reactors, but I particularly wanted to see one for UM because a few weeks ago we just had one of your faculty come speak about the situation there and the direction it's going in. It would seem that there's a big shift to accelerator experiments, which I was able to hear a good deal about. Anyway really interesting stuff, but you made a much better article than what I would have :-P

It's great to read that you're thinking about collaboration between Wikipedia and your classes. Perhaps we could both get our departments involved a little in the development of this part of Wikipedia. So far my largest creation has been the NCSU Reactor Program, which is mostly the program history from the university archives like yours is. theanphibian 04:29, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm taking a class that wants to create the history of nuclear technology section in wikipedia. We're going to clean up inaccurate posts and make new ones.

Thanks for uploading Image:Fnr color.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use.
