August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 12:18, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: your email[edit]

If you have found instances of commercial links on Wikipedia, feel free to remove them or start a discussion about them on the relevant article talk page. The mere existence of such content is not an endorsement of that content, and is not a good reason to add additional links. - MrOllie (talk) 13:52, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: your response[edit]

I'm still unclear on what is 'correct.' Is it not the purpose of the laser welding page to educate people about laser welding? Is it the links that are objectionable? Or the content? Perhaps it would be better to add some of this text to the page and then cite the article as a reference? - MiyachiUnitek (talk) 20:46, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am unclear on what it is you need. This drawing/graphic is taken from one of our internal documents. It is not copyrighted/proprietary to Miyachi Unitek Corp.  ??? MiyachiUnitek (talk) 19:27, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
