Biography

Dr M R Karim Reza was born at the house of his maternal grandfather at Ajgora, Enaetpur sharif, Sirajganj, Bangladesh on 5th August 1966. He attended different schools & colleges at Sirajganj, Gaibandha, Rajshahi & Dhaka to complete his school education. He obtained MBBS in 1991 from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka under Dhaka University. After completion of MPH in 2006, engaged himself to research & policy framework for the development of health system for the rural & remote area. He completed post graduation in Dermatology from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. He is a fellow of American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is also a very skilled & known dermatologist, with super speciality in Aesthetic Dermatology.

He developed a health financing program within the community itself to fund called Community health insurance program & started a pilot project to implement this idea at the rural Sirajganj under the administrative control of Medi-Hope Foundation, Bangladesh. He also developed a module for individual sponsor supported health care financing for the working & street children's of Dhaka city.

Dr Reza also has been writing columns for news as well as social media to aware common citizen about health, and to identify problems & obstacles in the healthcare system. He is also an active blogger.^[1]^[2]^[3]

Interests

As hobby, he is interested in articles about Bangladesh, Indonesia, and United Kingdom, particularly about current affairs, cultures, places, roads, transportation, urban planning, skyscrapers, museums and educational institutions.^[4] He has special interest about Skyscraper and Rapid Transit of the cities around the world. He likes to add content, insert citations, find images and correct grammatical errors.

As a professional, he also loves to contribute in health topics, specially in dermatology, aesthetic medicine, and public health related subjects in Wikipedia, also writes articles in news media.^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]
