[edit] Singles

A Little More Personal (Raw) featured the single "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)". "I Live for the Day" was slated in 2005 to be the second single, but was then scrapped and released only in Australia, although it did play on some radio stations in the United States. "Fastlane" was to be released instead, as it would be the theme song to her new movie, Just My Luck. This was later scrapped as well.

[edit] Music videos

Lohan directed the "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" music video and after "I Live for the Day" had been slated as the second single, a music video had been confirmed and was to star Lohan along with Adam Bertrand. It was canceled before filming began due to the song's disappointing chart performance.

[edit] Album artwork

The album cover art features red lettering on Lohan's back representing the Chinese character (Pinyin: shēng; Cantonese: Säng), which denotes "raw"; there are several other meanings depending on context, including "living" and "giving birth".[2]

[edit] Additional information

At the beginning of the title track, "A Little More Personal," the words exchanged between Lohan and friend Adam Bertrand were unintentionally recorded, however the producers liked the conversation so they added it as the intro to the song.

The song "Black Hole" was sent to Kelly Clarkson to record for her third album, My December (2007), but Clarkson declined it.[3] Pop rock band I Nine covered the song for their debut album, Heavy Weighs the King (2008). Their version appears on an episode of the television series The Hills, "Back to LA".

The track "A Beautiful Life" from this album is featured on the soundtrack of the television series The Hills.[4]

[edit] Tour

In December Lohan confirmed that she was going on tour in Taiwan, however this was cancelled.[5]
