Adwoa Caitlin Maria Aboah[3] (born 18 May 1992) is a British fashion model and activist. In December 2017 she appeared on the cover of British Vogue.[4] She has also been on the cover of American Vogue, Vogue Italia and i-D.[5][6][7]

Early life

Aboah's parents are Charles Aboah and Camilla Lowther, both of whom are also in the fashion industry.[8][9] Her sister Kesewa is also a model.

Career

Aboah has modeled for Calvin Klein, Fendi,[10] DKNY, Alexander Wang,[11] Theory, H&M,[12] Aldo,[13] Versus (Versace), Topshop,[14] Fenty x Puma,[15] Kenzo, Simone Rocha, and Erdem among others.[16][17][18][19][20][21]

Aboah has an organisation for young women called Gurls Talk.[22][23][24]

She appear as 'Lia' in the 2017 Hollywood remake of Japanese movie franchise Ghost in the Shell.[25]

Personal life

Aboah has suffered from depression and drug addiction and is now sober.[27][28]

Aboah graduated Brunel University in 2013 with a BA undergraduate degree in Modern Drama.
