Artavazd VI was a Persian ruler of the Kingdom of Armenia from 252 until 283.
According to ancient historians and to Armenian tradition, Artavazde was installed as king by the Persian sovereign Shapur I, after his predecessor - Tiridates II - was murdered by Anak, an agent of the House of Suren.
