Centerville Junior High School is a secondary school in Fremont, California. It is located at 37720 Fremont Blvd., 94536[1]. It is one of five junior high schools in the city belonging to the Fremont Unified School District. Centerville is part of the American Attendance area, and goes to Washington High School. Students from Cabrillo Elementary School, Glenmoor Elementary School, Maloney Elementary School, Niles Elementary School, Parkmont Elementary School and Vallejo Mill Elementary School attend Centerville Junior High[2].
- The school's mascot is the Mustangs, and the school's colors are red and black.
- Centerville has a library which students are allowed to use before school, after school, and during lunch time, along with a weight room and gym, one of the biggest in the area.
- The school has a closed campus, like most schools in the area do.
- Centerville recently had its 150th year of operation celebration in May 2008.
- Dr. Garo Mirigian was the principal and has since taken up the position of principal of Hopkins Junior High in 2008.
- The current principal is Sherry Strausbaugh. The vice-principal is Ray Raskop.
