The Turkish Naval Forces or Turkish Navy is the naval warfare service branch of the Armed Forces of Turkey. As of November 2022, the navy operates a wide variety of ships, including; 16 frigates, 9 corvettes, 12 submarines and various other ships.[1][2]

Akya[19]  Turkey Heavyweight Torpedo AKYA is a new generation heavy class torpedo, developed entirely with national resources, capable of engaging various class submarines and surface targets from submarines. AKYA has high speed, long range, active/passive sonar head, internal and external guidance over fiber optic cable. In addition, wake guidance is used against surface targets. The AKYA Torpedo, which was first used in Preveze Class Submarines in the inventory of the Turkish Naval Forces Command, successfully fired in March 2022 via the National Submarine Combat Management System MÜREN.Also will be integrated into the Gür and Reis Class Submarine platforms in the future.[20]

The unmanned aircraft has an endurance of more than 24 hours and can fly at a maximum altitude of 30,000ft. The UAV has two underwing weapon stations, which can carry weapons such as the Rokestan Smart Micro Munition (MAM-L) air-launched missile launcher and the CIRIT 2.75in guided rocket pod to engage light armoured vehicles, personnel, military shelters, and ground radar stations.[28]

The tactical UAV has a range of more than 150km and can fly at a maximum altitude of 27,030ft. It has a maximum speed ranging between 70kt and 120kt and endurance of 27 hours.

Bayraktar TB2 UAV has the capacity to carry a payload of 150kg and operate during day and night. The UAV has a length of 6.5m, wing span of 12m and a maximum take-off weight of 650kg.[30] Bayraktar TB2 can carry 4 MAM-L and MAM-C.

ULAQ Unmanned surface vehicle (AUSV)  Turkey ULAQ is the first indigenous and locally developed AUSV. The vehicle is being developed by a joint venture between Ares Shipyard and METEKSAN. The vessel is planned to be equipped with four CIRIT and two L-UMTAS anti-tank missile systems provided by Roketsan. Moreover, ULAQ is projected to have a 400-kilometer-long cruising range with 65km per hour maximum speed. Currently, the project is undergoing sea trials and will start to fire tests through the third quarter of 2021.[43][44]

Aselsan RD-09[46] AUSV/USV  Turkey Developed in cooperation with Sefine Shipyard and ASELSAN, the RD-09 and NB-57 USVs have a range of 60 nautical miles and can reach speeds of 40 knots.

Armed unmanned sea vehicles RD-09 and NB-57; It will be able to carry out anti-submarine warfare, surface defense warfare, mine warfare and electronic warfare. While both SİDAs have ASELSAN STAMP, they will be able to use missiles such as RD-09 L-UMTAS and UMTAS, while NB-57 will be able to use light torpedoes.
