Shadow Child is a novel by Vermont horror and paranormal activity author Joseph A. Citro.[1] It was not the first book he wrote (that was Lake Monsters), although it was his first published one.
The real location of the Bennington Triangle, known for a series of mysterious disappearances there over the years, is one of the biggest real-life influences on this book. There are also several references (in fictional printings) to the Triangle within the novel.
