Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... per the exceptions the CSD G4, the new article attempts to address the concerns about lack of sources. We have added new reliable sources. Ticketmaster, WWE.com, and the arena's website all acknowledge it. At most, this article should be redirected to WWE Backlash so the article may be easily restored when the build to the PPV starts. This page should not be speedily deleted because... (It is a page for an actual upcoming wrestling pay-per view.) --The Ruler Of All Water (talk) 22:52, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... WWE has confirmed the event is taking place and that tickets are going on sale. --TheGRVOfLightning(talk) 00:27, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Undertaker vs dean ambrose

This page should not be speedily deleted because there is confirmation of this event now. If this isn't good enough, we can just redirect it to WWE Backlash until a later time. JC · Talk · Contributions 03:23, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because this is an upcoming and notable professional wrestling event confirmed by sources including Ticketmaster and WWE itself. The articles were deleted the last time because they were only speculation and not actually confirmed, whereas this event has now been confirmed. JTP (talk) 03:36, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted per TrueCRaysball, JC, and JTP. TheTMOBGaming2 (talk) 03:43, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it is a confirmed event by WWE, Ticketmaster and the arena itself. There are also independent sources confirming it. It's also only a month and a half away, so it's not like the event is so far down the road. Also what is with people wanting to delete PPV pages lately? Is it really gonna kill WP to have these pages exist without any matches confirmed yet? If you want to redirect it to the main WWE Backlash article then fine. But as long as we have legit sources confirming an event will be happening, just let it go. You're only going to make us do double work later on when it comes time to bring the page back. WP will not collapse onto itself because of a couple of articles that aren't full of a ton of sources yet. OldSkool01 (talk) 04:12, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... WWE.com shows that Backlash will be happening, and is selling tickets now for 9/11. http://www.wwe.com/shows/backlash --174.89.12.21 (talk) 04:16, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative[edit]

Per the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Clash of Champions (2016), since this PPV has a main page at WWE Backlash the article could redirect there until actual build happens and it undeniably passes WP:GNG.LM2000 (talk) 21:09, 25 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Compromise[edit]

A few of you recommended redirecting it for now, which I think is a reasonable enough compromise. I figure that when more coverage comes out you guys can restore it and flesh it out. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:03, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I fully support a redirect, this scenario was recently discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Clash of Champions (2016).LM2000 (talk) 15:06, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicated article[edit]

Can anyone solve this? Wikipedia:Backlash (2016) (Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Backlash (2016)). Pedrohoneto (talk) 03:40, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orton Wyatt Match[edit]

It's been widely reported that the Orton Wyatt match has been canceled. I think we should delete it from the card. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.197.146.54 (talk) 23:41, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. VarunFEB2003 I am Offline 11:46, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently, now the six pack challenge is a six pack elimination challenge. Daniel Bryan just announced it on Smackdown Live. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:647:100:2720:5112:BFD:C3D7:A73A (talk) 00:04, 7 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
