plagiarism[edit]

I believe much of this content has been plagiarized from http://www.stpeterslist.com/1279/dictionnaire-infernal-24-demon-sketches/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.174.87.84 (talk) 16:07, 4 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

a few things[edit]

i notice that a lot of your Dictionnaire Infernal has been edited by wiccans and occultists, i myself am neither but maintain a strict interest in demonology, i hope my contributions can be of some service. what i am attempting to complete the listings as a guide to demonics and spirits for use by priests and spiritualists. thank you.--Tophatdan 08:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FIN[edit]

Well, provided my work stays intact and expanded upon i believe this should conclude the infirnal dictionary for the betterment of all who would be interested...
Enjoy
God Love you.

A new begining[edit]

Well, I really don't think this article is ready. In fact, I'm going to mark it for clean up. There is a lot of information that is not about the book itself but about the author (Such information should be added to the author's article).
Also there is unreferenced information, especially the text in french that comes from the article in the french Wiki, and it is also unreferenced in there.
And finally, there are some bogus links that can be atributed to original research of the editor that put them.
One last thing, I would like to notice that there isn't a single reference to the text itself (not even an external link) or to considerable parts of it. So we really cannot check the acuracy of the listed demons. --Legion fi 07:55, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect Images[edit]

Either WIkipedia is incorrect, or the Cornell site with pages from the Dictionnaire Infernal is incorrect. In particular, the image identified by Wikipedia as Asmodeus is a different demon altogether. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.85.182.166 (talk) 06:07, 10 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added this to external links, may the demons bless you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.80.208.250 (talk) 09:20, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I dont know exactly who digitalized this text, but it seems as the original to me. Thank you very much. --Legion fi (talk) 06:09, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't browse through the entire scanned PDF to see if this was the edition with the illustrations of the demons, is it? I doubt it. In any case, at least we have the text. Praise be the demons!
Added additional book links w/ PDFs @ google books, see also the external links at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collin_de_Plancy —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.249.64.107 (talk) 07:14, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just to let people know that the book in the first link is INCOMPLETE. At least, pages 439 trough 442 are missing. I have yet to check the rest of the books. --Legion fi (talk) 06:51, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of demons[edit]

Is the list of demons a selection of just some of the demons that have entries in the dictionary, or specifically the demons that were illustrated by Breton? If it's the latter, then that section is not altogether correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.26.239.20 (talk) 11:12, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
