Horses[edit]

How many horses are in Gallop Racer and what are their names?

Discrepencies[edit]

Jamie Schaffranek said "Gallop Racer is pretty much Madden for Japanese kids, byong." - straight from the source, I would like to have the last revision of the page restored.

Sincerly,

Regional Differences[edit]

The home versions had different names in the Japan, US and PAL regions:

PlayStation releases:

  • Gallop Racer (Japan). Not released outside Japan.
  • Gallop Racer 2 (Japan). Not released outside Japan.
  • Gallop Racer 3 (Japan) = Gallop Racer (US). Not released in the PAL region.
  • Gallop Racer 2000 (Japan). Not released outside Japan.

PlayStation 2 releases:

  • Gallop Racer 5 (Japan) = Gallop Racer 2001 (US). Not released in the PAL region.
  • Gallop Racer 6: Revolution (Japan) = Gallop Racer 2003: A New Breed (US) = attheraces Presents Gallop Racer (PAL).
  • Gallop Racer Lucky 7 (Japan) = Gallop Racer 2004 (US) = Gallop Racer 2 (PAL).
  • Gallop Racer 8 (Japan) = Gallop Racer 2006 (US). Not released in the PAL region.

I'm not sure if Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey & Gallop Racer really counts as a Gallop Racer title or not, it's clearly part of Koei's G1 Jockey series right down to the logo (which itself came from the Winning Post series). 115.64.178.4 (talk) 22:28, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
