Interdependent Occupational Unit[edit]

I have reverted the addition of this definition because I don't believe it merits inclusion on this page. I agree it is not vandalism - this was my mistake.

However, Wikipedia has policies regarding notability, and there is a level that something must reach before it can be included on a page. Otherwise the website risks drowning in questionable information. There are only 3 references to this phrase on the entire searchable internet (see [1]). Including some text about this definition on Danny Wallace's page would be the correct place for this information. If there was an standalone article about this topic, it would certainly have been deleted on these grounds.

However, this is just my opinion. The decision should be reached by consensus. If the community thinks it should be included, that's fine with me. Please discuss the item here before re-adding it. Cheers --PhilipO 19:08, September 4, 2005 (UTC)

Oppose per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and WP:COMMONNAME. The onus is on the nom to show that the topic currently at IOU is not the primary topic for that title. I see no such evidence, and after glancing over the dab page, am pretty sure it does not exist. --B2C 00:48, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
