"Kharkiv River" -Llc 10
"Kharkov River" -Llc 19, but most of them are "historical".

Comment This is English Wikipedia not Russian Wikipedia. Why does it matter that part of the river is in Russia? It's not completely in Russia by that comment, so why does Russian matter? 70.24.247.40 (talk) 06:58, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. Agree with Takabeg's arguments, and when there's not a clear winner among contemporary English-language sources, WP:WikiProject Rivers#Naming states that we should "choose the name for the section of the river closest to the river's mouth, since generally that is where the river is widest." The source of this river is in Russia, but most of it, including the mouth, is in Ukraine. Favonian (talk) 18:22, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
