Civil War Entry[edit]

I added this entry to show a more detailed picture of Hill's approach to justice.

Placed her as a Captain America villain for the same reason Namor is considered a Fantastic Four villain.

No, when Namor was a villain it was clear he was a villain. Quesada has stated on Hill that "Right now I feel that people view her as the outsider but I don’t think she’s any harsher than Fury has ever been, what’s different is that we aren’t quite clear about her motives." [1] Her actions may be morally ambiguous, but she is not a villain. --DrBat 22:16, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I bet she's a Skrull too. But I put bigger odds on Miriam Sharpe.

Since when...[edit]

Has Tony Stark been the head of SHIELD? I have the issue in question, but Hill doesn't give Stark control, she just says that she thinks he'd be the better choice.

-In the final issue of Civil War, we see Tony Stark as the new head of SHIELD. Hill was demoted to Deputy Commander.

Skrulls[edit]

I realize that Marvel readers are hot to discover who is a Skrull and who is not after New Avengers #31, but at this point it's pure speculation to suggest that anyone other than the late Elektra or Luke Cage's kid is part of the conspiracy. Fun speculation, yes, and speculation that has been cheerfully encouraged by Bendis and other writers, but the bit in this article about Maria Hill's potential Skrull identity is currently baseless. I'm removing it. Be patient, people - I'm sure they'll start exposing the impostors soon enough. Universaladdress 09:06, 19 June 2007 (UTC) ::Maria Hill is a SKRULL![reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:CW01 11.jpg[edit]

Image:CW01 11.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Alternate versions[edit]

In the world of the MC-2 universe, Maria Hill is a member of the National Securtiy Force. When government assignment when awry and a piece of the Carnage symbiote was released. The Syymbiote was stopped by Spider-girl, the daughter of Spider-man as she later reported the success to that world's Nick Fury.

She is later seen accusing American Dream of the Avengers-Next, for crimes against the US, as the heroine stumbles upon a government mission.

Why was Cobie removed from the Maria Hill wikipedia page? She told the whole HIMYM set. Everyone on set was tweeting about it. Why remove it? She's excited! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.76.67.233 (talk) 05:44, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:Mariahill.PNG Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Mariahill.PNG, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 3 December 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
