Fair use rationale for Image:Aabf15.jpg[edit]

Image:Aabf15.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Removed piece of trivia[edit]

"When Ned notices the flood Homer caused, he mentions to Maude that "God has drowned the wicked and spared the righteous". This is a mistake because in the Bible, after Noah walks out of the Ark, God states that He will never flood the world again."

I think this is pretty unnecessary, I don't think the writers made a mistake, but rather this user just didn't get the joke.--203.122.233.60 (talk) 23:37, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • One dablink found and fixed; please check
Plot
  • "Astrid Weller (played by Isabella Rossellini)" - wouldn't 'voiced' be more appropriate?
  • "Homer's exhibit goes to the Louvre: American Style museum and when Mr. Burns buys his work. " - huh?
  • "Consequently, Homer becomes a success" - is this really needed?
  • "Arrivederci Roma" - per MoS, should be in quote marks, not italics
  • "On the Simpsons' garage door, "Start here tomorrow 7/17/95" is written in blue paint. The date refers to Scully and Julie Thacker's anniversary, which was on July 17, 1995" - how is this relevant to the episode?
It is only mentioned in this episode. Perhaps it would fit better in Cultural references?
Oh. Then stipulate that the writing was only on the garage in this episode. —Andrewstalk 09:35, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Steven Dean Moore's participation in the DVD commentary is not supported by ref.
  • The DVD Town ref should link the page 2, where this episode's comment is, and indicate page=2 in the citation template.

Nice work, on hold, awaiting improvements. —Andrewstalk 00:34, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the review! I've answered most of your concerns, and there was only one that I was a bit unsure about. Thanks again! Queenieacoustic (talk) 09:28, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All good, passing now. Congratulations and keep up the good work! —Andrewstalk 09:55, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Killing umbrellas[edit]

I'm surprised that there is no information about Christo and Jeanne-Claude in the cultural references section. Quoting Lisa: "Christo is a conceptual artist who does huge outdoor projects. He once wrapped the Reichstag in plastic." and "he also set up hundreds of yellow umbrellas along the California highway.". My English is very broken to write something about this in the article but I hope somebody else can add information about this cultural reference. Thanks. 90.163.10.74 (talk) 02:10, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
